It is kind of a standard practice in the bay area for some dealers to add a dealer markup to the price of new cars. When I bought my 2017 Escape one dealer had a markup on every Escape in their lot.
Same 2/7 production date. I was told mine was checked and did not have the issue that they were checking on. Went in the body shop on Thursday and back out on Friday which I believe is the standard operation for the spray in bed liner. Status is still in production, but at least it moved last...
It will continue to add 1 every day. Mine got up to 18 before it changed to na. Still in production but dealer can see more detail and the spray in liner was done Friday. Est delivery was 2/17
Growing up on the farm you got to drive a lot of different vehicles and do some crazy things. We had a race course laid out in a field, an old junker 54 chev, and would see who could do the fastest lap. It was on its 3rd trans, but we could not blow the 6 cyl.
Grew up on the family farm in west central Illinois driving tractors, trucks, and jeeps. Ended up in silicon valley for 30 years (Google HQ was just down the street). Retired in 2017 and moved back near family and the farm. Will do a little different off roading starting next month.
Mine was built the same day. Just at the dealer and he checked his system, and it showed going into the body shop on 3/6 and back on 3/7 which is what they do for the spray in bed liner. Expect it to be out of production and waiting to ship when they update the tracker today.
My truck was built on 2/7 but never moved out of production on the Web Tracker and I know that there are a number of you who are in the same boat. My dealer & zone rep did a deep dive on what is going on. Ford does a sample check of the trucks and apparently found some issue on multiple trucks...
It should be a -11 days. Looks like it basing delivery from our 2/17 delivery date. It looks like we have the color, Lariat, and spray in liner in common. My dealer is checking status every day for any change.
In Illinois, just across the river from Keokuk, Iowa (South east tip of iowa). Visit daughter in Minot, ND a couple times a year, stop in Clear Lake for gas and food.
I wonder if they rolled off the line into the lot, got 8 inches of snow dumped on them and getting the snow out and drying the bed before doing the spray in liner is the issue. Limited in door space and easier to just roll newer builds straight to the body shop for the liner.
