Took mine on a road trip to the dmv in a neighboring county to renew my 2 months expired license. Got there at 7:30a (they open @8:00a) and left at 9:00a. I was #4 in line. I could have renewed online, but I need to have one of the "Real IDs" for my job and you have to apply for those in...
I know what you mean. I had to drive one the company Honda Civics recently. I felt like I was driving a go-cart and needed a crane to get up out of it.
This is discussed in another thread on the forum (not sure exactly where at this moment). It is part of a dealer installed security system that they try to up sell on.
When I did the dash letters, I found that a pair of tweezers was the best tool for dipping the letters in the soap solution and applying them to the dash. A wooden stick match with the head removed, was useful in pressing the air bubbles out of the vinyl once they were applied.
Picked up dinner at a local restaurant Sunday and received compliments on the Saber color from a couple parked next to me.
Later that night drove to the car wash. As I was driving in with my Saber CC Lariat, a White CC Lariat was driving out. We both did a slo-mo as we checked each other out...
The '98 Ranger SCab FX4 Off Road I bought used in 2009 had been rented by my city's PD for 8 months prior to my purchasing it.
It had been used to make drug buys. The dealership didn't share this with me. I was informed about this piece of its history from my brother who was an officer on the...
I think it is really cool that you and your daughters worked together on this. I know that I have been grateful that my dad was adamant that I learned how to do basic vehicle maintenance as a requirement of getting my driver's license. The knowledge has served me well over the years. I am...
I wasn't sure if I would like it on my Sabre, so I "tried it on" using a picture of my tailgate and a colored pencil.
A bit crude I admit, but it helps me visualize what it look like on my truck. I am not sure whether I like it or not.
I know my mom would have kept driving Aerostars if they had stayed in production. Much better than the Chrysler T&C that she had to go to. The gas mileage on the Aerostars was very competative, it could tow my parent's fold-down camper like it wasn't even there, plus the rear bench seats...
This is where I have to give Chrysler big kudos. Both Ford and GM keep contact information a deep dark secret. On two different occasions, I have found email info for the head of Chrysler North America and made successful contacts
The first was in 2004, I ordered a Dakota and the order kept...
FedEx dropped off my 4th gen sill protectors that I ordered last week from Fairway Ford today. The weather is supposed to be in the forties this weekend, so I can alter and install them.
I got a nice surprise yesterday. My dad went to the dealership to get the oil change in is '10 F150 and came home with these
My two missing tie downs and bolts at no charge!! I had asked about them several months ago, but didn't here anything. I assumed I would have to buy them myself. A...
I have owned 2 Nissan D21 trucks, '87 rcab & '94 sc (both purchased used) ;2 Dakota's, '98 sc & '04 quad cab (both purchased new) and 4 Ranger sc, 2 of which were 4x4 ('92, '95, '98, '06)(all used). As a DD I loved my Dakotas' cab room especially the '04 with a true back seat. The Nissan D21s...
