  1. Tonneau Covers Rails or no rails

I also discovered the reason the rails are curved is that the tailgate end of the rails needs to curve up to allow the tailgate to seat underneath.
  2. Who has added a Dash Cover?

Thanks. I will check it out.
  3. Who has added a Dash Cover?

For those of you that bought Dash Designs, where did you decide to fasten the Velcro? I am concerned about damaging the dash with too much Velcro adhesive, but I think a few strategic spots would work. Also did you clean the dash with alcohol or anything before fastening the Velcro?
  4. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

So far so good. The cover feels like a fine piece luxury leather goods, like a leather wallet or watch band or something, but does not have a lot of cushion.. So, it definitely looks superb and maybe I will decide I don’t need all the cushion, just a tight fit.
  5. Tonneau Covers Rails or no rails

Ok, I believe I got it. I loosened the clamps and wrapped a vice grip jaws in electrical tape. I then worked the plastic bump back down to level out of the side rail cap and clamped the rail to the bed with the vice grip. I then tightened up the clamps. I added the second set of clamps and...
  6. Ranger Tailgate Lettering

Here are the DKM letter from eBay. Glossy Black on the front, Matte black on the tailgate. There is a millimeter or two around the letters so test placing them before removing the adhesive is a good idea. But they were super easy to put on.
  7. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

I am trying this one out. It’s still a 50% wrap but seems very nice otherwise. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01GFNZK4Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_EHHMWVE569WVQWAT58TG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

I don't worry about the California warning labels anymore, but a lead warning is something I haven't seen for a while.
  9. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

I really like that look. How long does it take to do all the stitching? I am not the best at fine needlework
  10. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

I am reading the reviews and it says the steering wheel cover has sticker on it saying the product contains lead. I am like how is that even possible?
  11. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

Very nice. I will check it out.
  12. Looking for a thick Leather like Steering Wheel Cover

I am finding that not all the 14.5-15.5 Steering wheel Covers wrap around and cover the actual Steering Wheel real well. A lot leave about50% exposed. Can anyone recommend a good thick Steering wheel cover that wraps around the wheel more than 50% or so like 60-70%?
  13. Ranger Tailgate Lettering

Very nice. So DKM Gloss Black for the front and DKM Matte Black from eBay on the Back on order.
  14. Ranger Tailgate Lettering

Should I choose Vinyl or Raised ABS Plastic? Which are simpler to install? Which will last the longest?
  15. Tonneau Covers Rails or no rails

I have a new set of clamps and shims coming as well. Eddie was very helpful with the noise issue I had earlier and we got that resolved so the cover is nice and quiet. I’ll check which direction is recommended to install the shims. Here is what the instructions say:
  16. Tonneau Covers Rails or no rails

I like my Access Limited Tonneau a lot. Ford makes it difficult to attach the aluminum cover rails to to the truck because of the plastic side rail caps coming down in front of the metal flange. There is an air gap here so the clamps cannot get a good grip. Access/Agricover provides plastic...
  17. Best UV Protectant for New Ranger

Well 303 is working well for me. I made the mistake and let some dry on in the hot sun, but warm water and Meguiars APC took care of it. It’s sort of half-wax the way it behaves in some situations. The next time it washes off of high use areas like door handles. So far the two things keeping me...
  18. Windshield Molding Trim Corner Piece not quite lining up.

Did anyone else have their windshield corner trim piece not line up? I can either snap the one edge tabs into the metal pillar or the plastic body into the plastic cowl, but not both at the same time. Otherwise, I have a jimmy rigged fix at the moment with Windshield Butyl (professional Bubble...
  19. How much do you think this forum has cost you since you started seeing all the ‘mods’ you could do?

I appreciate the advice I’ve gotten here. I think it’s saved me money if anything. Although I am wondering about some unnecessary tailgate letters ?
