I believe you are correct as I just looked up a 23 Lariat and it shows CI part numbers however the aluminum ones are still available and are not superseded by the CI ones, This would tell me they are not interchangeable based on the current data. - Benny

We do not have engineering data/dimensions but from what I can see Tremor's used an iron knuckle as opposed to aluminum. The iron ones are painted black while the aluminum is unfinished/raw. - Benny
