I was curious if the 2020 crewcab still had the springs In the headrest too, and they do! I was bummed my headrest didn’t come with a button because it lets me fold down the rear seat without having to push up the front seats. Anyway, I opened up my headrest and realized that I didn’t have a...
I’d like to see some that hang over the side a bit more to protect the bedsides. My dog has already scractched up the sides with per paws and i’m always concerned when I load thingsor jump in from the side of the bed.
I’m 6’1 with 34” inseam. I like to drive with a more upright position than most other people I know and have no issues with leg room. I think this truck has the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had in a vehicle!
I wouldn’t regret getting a new Ranger so much as losing such a nice old Ranger. I can’t find a 10 year old pickup for less than 7k here and yours would have fetched 12 if it’s a 4x4.
You should also ask how old your kids are and how long you plan on keeping the truck. How much longer will they be in their car/booster seats? Carseats eat up a lot of real estate, more than a typical adult, but they don’t stay in it forever.
My kids are out of their car/booster seats and they...
Yeah, keep this thread up as a warning to people Removing their coil springs!!! Undo the axle nut. Learn from other’s mistakes! I thought I could do it like the guys on Stage3 video and I ended up separating my CV axle. I Had a VERY hard time reconnecting it even after removing the knuckle...
If you have a regular 1/2” ratchet, use that till it’s tight, then use the torque wrench. incrementally increase the torque on your torque wrench to the 221 ft/lbs (or whatever it says).
I drive an F150 for work. It’s a great truck- roomy, nice ride, and powerful with the V8. But, for a personal vehicle, I prefer smaller and better gas mileage. If you need big, go with the F150, but the Ranger is perfect for me and my two sons needs. Even at stock, it provides better confidence...
Just two weekends before school starts, we decided to head down to the ocean to do some overnight fishing. I didn’t get pics of crossing the deeper sandy area but my boy was able to get some shots driving through some of the soft dirt areas. I love this trucks!
That looks incredible and I’m sure it performs just as good as it looks- crooked tailpipe aside! I want some videos and pictures of it in action so I can live vicariously through your truck!!! And make sure to bang up the departure a bit to even out the Gibsons?
What size are those clips? After reading this thread, I might get the dealership to do the first couple oil changes :)
I once fought an oil filter for days in my 92 Cherokee. Two different types of removal tools and Even a screw driver through the can didn’t get it to loosen... I don’t want to...
At first I thought the terrain management was a gimmick but I tested the feature the first weekend I got my truck. I kept it in 4 high, normal mode through most of my trip, but got some slippage in sand. Turned to sand mode and all the slipping stopped. Came across some loose river rocks and...
I really like the overall look and design of the truck. I really like the engine and transmission and the overall mpg I am getting! Also the rear locking diff is awesome and those funny dials to choose your terrain while off roading? I thought it was all gimmick but it actually does a good job...
