Not even a decade ago, body lifts were so cool, but I guess people realized it really didn’t do much other than show off the frame. I’ve never been into it but surprised no one else mentioned it.
As others said- you won’t know the relibility for another few years. The most real- world knowledge I’ve seen is still under 100k. So, you can either wait another decade to say- “ha! Not as good as Toyota!” Or test drive them both and be satisfied. But I’ll say, the engine and transmission seems...
Is the shirt in the mail?!?
It’s funny, I was so against the damper for a long time, then when I finally got one... Wow! So convenient! Plus, I’m saving so much money now that I can cancel my subscription for Tiger Balm! No more achy muscles after wrestling with lowering the tailgate EVERY DAY...
I can sleep in my RSI- I plan on doing it once my kids go off in the summer. Until then, they get the bed and I get the hammock.
I’m 6’1 but I always sleep on my side anyway so I know I can fit.
I haven’t tried the hard wire yet, mostly because I don’t want a dead battery later. Saving up for the blackvue battery.
“I plan on trying the hardwire kit for a couple days Later this week”. I’ve had this camera for several months now, and I keep repeating that line ? it’s just that I don’t...
I have the Thinkware u1000 and it’s great! Camera quality is nice and comes with rear cam and hardwire kit. The only thing is that the collision detection auto record comes on a lot when you are going offroad?
When I first set off to buy a dashcam, I was going to go the cheap simple route but...
i really liked my revolver ( just got an RSI smartcap). I live in a place that gets 24” of rain a month (rainforest), so water intrusion is huge for me. The tonneau itself will keep water out but water got in at the tailgate and the creases at the front of the bed. I was able to seal up the...
I’m a simple guy- Guinness draught is my choice whether it’s working on the truck or working in the yard. A pinot noir is also good if I’m in the mood or have to think between sips.
So after a LONG journey trying to get my truck outfitted with an RSI smartcap, I was finally able to work with a local company to get it delivered, however there was still a long wait for the crossbars ??‍♂️ It took about 6 weeks for it to arrive to Hawaii (not bad) but it would have taken...
I bought my truck to do more than one thing. If I were constantly hauling or towing heavy loads, I would have probably kept the stock height, but because I also use it as a daily driver, hunting/camping/fishing mobile, AND a garbage truck and moving truck, I wanted it to look good, have better...
It’s something I’m interested in too. Not really wanting to do a rhino rack on the cab though- maybe just the clamp on crossbars over the cab to help carry the long items.
I’ve camped in them (in different trucks) plenty of times. I’ve even camped inside my XJ (I’m 6’1). When I get my camper shell, my kids will be sleeping in it and I’ll be on my hammock- 5’ is just not long enough.
Kanak from Hawaii- I’ve always called it a camper shell, even when we lived in Kentucky and Tennessee... but then again, people always thought we were weird.
