I currently have a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 that has 60,000 miles on it and the dealer is wanting me to get some service done and I’m trying to figure out what actually needs done at this mileage. My current driving conditions as far as temp and weather is central texas. I drive mainly city with...
I’ve started noticing when shifting from park to drive to reverse or shifting to anything in between its like a grinding noise and a squealing sound form where I think the transmission to the dive shaft is (I’m not a mechanic and I don’t know much about vehicles) does anyone know what this is...
It was about 27 degrees and sleeting for a couple hours but there was no ice on sensors or anything we had about a foot of snow 2 weeks ago with no issues at all with it.
So this decided to act up I’ve done a car wash to hopefully fix it and it seemed like it did then I stopped at Walmart for a bit now it’s doing it again anyone know a fix?
Mine was because the people who owned it before me never balanced or rotated on a schedule I don't think they ever did because my front tires have virtually no tread wear lol
I'm getting my tires replaced tomorrow I won't be using it in 4wd anymore do y'all think I could have messed something up and I should get it checked out?
I have been using it in 4 high last few days in town because its been raining a lot and my rear tires need to be replaced due to tread depth and I don't want to hydroplane.
I have a 2020 Ranger with the fx4 package and I just noticed a issue when I have it in four wheel drive and I am turning sharp like to park in a parking spot the vehicle almost stalls it slows to a crawl mid turn then stops itself if you don't push on the gas. Anyone having this issue or is it...
The issue I have been having is when I accelerate the engine and or transmission has a faint to a little louder sound and the best that I can describe it is when you put a baseball card on your bike and it hits the spokes really fast is this normal? Had a service guy at a ford dealer do a ride...
I know I know I know its probably just the clutch type engine fan but mine does it every time I take the tuck out of park even if the truck has been running for hours and sometimes it will do it after being stopped at a stoplight and it seems to coincide with the shifting of my vehicle instead...
