Damn, this forum got me again! Been contemplating an extended warranty for some time. After reading this thread and finding out about the increase coming up I pulled the trigger on 8yr?100,000 mile Premium plan today. I really like this truck and as I am considering retirement in the not to...
I've got 265/65R18 BFG KO2s on stock suspension, no rubbing. 2" level with Eibach 2.os as soon as I can get an appointment at my dealers to get them put in.
I've had the Rough Country Trifold on for about 6 months and 10,000 miles. Very happy with it. Fits well and has proven to be pretty water resistant. Enjoy!
I ran into the same thing months ago. Ended up buying the Eibach 2.0 and Pro Truck rears. Happy with the rears, huge improvment. The fronts hopefully go in next week.
Run, quick, cancel your order. These things are money pits! For a few days you'll being looking out the window saying, wow, what a pretty truck. Next thing you know it's whispering in your ear, "I need some floor mats", then its mudflaps and a bed cover. Soon you're contemplating a level kit...
Not really struggling, just trying to figure the easiest way to get this done. It just seemed to make more sense to me to remove two bolts from the LCA and unbolt the shock than to remove all of the steps 1 - 12. I was just trying to see if anyone had justification for going through all those...
I just replaced the rears on my STX and couldn't be happier. Feels more planted, less boucing and body movement. I installed Eibach Pro truck shocks, well worth the investment. Have front Eobach Stage 2s waiting to go on.
One other option I thought of is cutting the studs off the bottom of the stock shocks. That would require way less bouncing of the LCA to get the shock out. As the stage 2 Eibachs use bolts and nuts on the bottom this would cause any problems. Guess I just need to bite the bullet and decide if I...
