  2. Trailer Brake Lights problem with Ford/Redarc controller

I have the same brake controller on my 20’ XLT and installed it my self last year when Ford still had it in stock. I don’t tow our travel trailer much but did notice last year it didn’t work correctly. I couldn’t adjust it with the knob. It really only worked when I pressed the button in...

Before I thought about changing the factory front shocks I was pretty intimidated. Now after watching several videos I have a pretty good grasp on how to do it. I did change out my 2015 Mustang GT factory suspension to the track pack suspension but that didn’t require using a sting compressor.
  9. Ranger will be parked mostly -Ethanol Free Gas?

Yes. I forgot to add I put all of my stored motorcycles and lawnmower batteries on battery tenders. I also use dryer sheets around the wiring to keep mice from chewing on the wiring. They love the wire covering made with soy beans.

  13. DIY front shock installation

Thanks, I just watched a couple of YouTube videos but were for the 4WD. Looks like something I can tackle. I’m going to buy a spring compressor then head to the alignment shop once I’m done. I’m a year younger than you at 63.

Thanks for the video and your disassemble/assemble instructions. I have a 20’ XLT 2WD. I bought Blistein 4600’s. Replaced the rears and trying to see if the fronts are doable by myself. I will probably need a spring compressor and definitely an alignment after the install. Will driving the...

Hello, I have a 20’ XLT 2WD. Replaced the rears with Blistein 4600’s and were pretty easy to install. Bought the front 4600’s but trying to see if anyone has a DIY write up for installing the front shocks. How hard is it and any special tools I would need? I’ve done all the work on my truck...
  16. Stuck trying to install rear shocks

I did my rears with 4600’s and were pretty easy. The hardest part was getting the passenger side top mount nut on due to the angle and space.

  20. Pro-Active Battery Replacement ?

Mine is a 2020 Ranger. I bought it last year with 15k miles. I believe it is the original battery. It starts fine and no problems. I carry a jump pack with me just incase it starts giving me problems. When it does then I will replace it.
