Me too, but I haven’t driven a manual in about 5 years. I know it’s fine but to me it feels wrong for an automatic to engine brake like that. I’m sure I would get used to it.
Regardless, it’s in line with Ford’s specs for the Bronco 2.3L difference between 87 and 93 octane ratings. Also Explorer is up there at 93 octane rating as well.
I can only assume Ford didn’t rate at 93 octane to sell more Ford Performance tunes.
Five Star determined about 300 hp at the crank running 93 octane on stock Ranger.
So a gain of about 30 hp from gas alone.

I felt like my transmission wandered a lot and lugged early on, but after about 5k miles I stopped noticing. Maybe it learned or I learned, but it’s mostly fine now. I do occasionally lock out gears 9 and 10 on country roads.
Ranger 5g is just full of damper fanboys. It’s annoying.

I’m coming up on one year and I’m at about 8200 miles. Still loving it, and just earlier today while parked near a new Frontier, current gen Tacoma, and Ridgeline, I still think the 5g Ranger looks better.

Have you uninstalled the Pro Cal software, rebooted your pc, and reinstalled the Pro Cal software? I would also recommend running disk cleanup at least twice between the uninstall and reinstall - I’ve noticed sometimes disk cleanup...
