Thanks. Putting this out here reminds me of why I don't like the internet. Keyboard warriors diagnosing things that they know nothing of. I literally took the truck to Ford everytime, they have all of the records on it. I am hoping for an answer (good or bad) today.

It has taken a month for the after market warranty people to show up to even consider doing the engine build. Hopefully I will find out today what is going on.

Engine is SHOT. It must have thrown a bearing, when they changed the oil and had a tone of metal in there. The warranty is going to cover it, but super frustrated that it came to this.

I brought the truck home yesterday (3 days) and had it for an hour and the check engine light came on. Shop put on a new engine oil pressure sensor connector and replaced a damaged wiring/pigtail. I was advised that their best tech is on the job and he never has any vehicle returns until mine...

Update: On Friday I took the Ranger to the Ford dealership. It has bee there one full day. The service advisor told me that the oil was low and verified if they could do an oil change on it. I am wondering where that is coming from because the other shop did not mention anything about that.

The mechanic has said all of the fuses are good. Solenoid is good. Just waiting on the oil pump which I hope comes today.

The wiring harnass was the first place that we looked. It did look a little chewed up. Right now I am going to talk to the mechanic and varify that they did look at F12. Thanks for the help.
