I liken this to the first flat screen TV’s. The panels suffered from burn in and they cost $10k and weighed 80-120 lbs and had a usable life of 2-3 years . Now you can get a similarly sized TV for $500-$1000 and it weighs 30 lbs with a usable life of considerably longer than the early panels...
I couldn't wait any longer for the General HTS 60’s. They've been on backorder for over a year. Only reason I wanted them over the Michelins was the OWL. Always had Michelins on my 2000 Ranger until they stopped making my size which forced me into the Generals for my last set on that truck. IMO...
Had stock Bridgestones for 18600 miles and just had Michelin LTX M/S installed at Discount Tire. World of difference, in fact felt the difference in the first 100 feet. The Bridgestone's were horrible in the rain and actually have 2/32 less tread depth to start with than most other brands. Very...
I was once told by a dealer that if it wasnt hitting the floor its not considered a leak. This was when the valve covers on my 2000 Ranger were seeping oil onto the exhaust manifolds…..
So just let it build up for a few days so its nice and oily for them!
I guess if you want to take the risk that natural immunity could bring by not being vaccinated, go ahead and roll the dice. Covid does have a 99% survival rate, however you may survive with permanent lung, vascular or organ damage. But hey, you will have survived, maybe strapped to an O2 tank...
What kind of stock wheels did you replace? Aluminum or steel? If aluminum, its probably a reaction between the dissimilar metals and the salt in the air acting as the oxidizer. Put a good coat of grease on the face and area of the rim that contacts it. This needs to be done in climates that use...
Yes I only have a 2wd and I changed my plan before it was processed due to the low miles I accumulate. So Im now at 7yrs/48k with a $100 deductible for $650, and I also added the instant rental for $10 additional. Also used 4000 remaining Ford pass points for $20 off. So in total out the door I...
Just purchased the premium care for 6yrs/75k for $685 from Flood. I only have 18k on the clock and compared to what the Ford website quoted me, I feel like I got a decent deal.
That wont be released here until 2025 from what my dealer told me. The current gen Ranger isn't even 3 years old. They will work the bugs out on the new platform before it comes here.
The simple answer is, less and smaller components to manufacture. Ie: my 2000 Ranger with the 4.0L V6, our 2.3’s have more hp and torque with 2 less cyls and less journals on a crankshaft to machine.
