The following was posted yesterday on the Blue Oval Forums, and lines up with what your salesmen told you. Dealers will still be able to enter orders for dealer stock. The longer my '22 Tremor is held up, the more I will lean towards waiting for a '23, even though it will be a long ass wait for...
What is your Ranger build like? Is it a Tremor? My Tremor built date is about a month after yours, but Ford phone support said mine hasn't been released by the plant, or is not ready for shipping yet, so no idea what is holding it up, but it is waiting for something before it can be cleared for...
Thank you for posting the ph#. They were at least able to tell me the secondary reason listed for my delayed Ranger. The online tracker has said Awaiting Shipment for more than a month, but phone support shared "the truck is not yet shippable or is experiencing delay of plant release". Figures...
I’m curious to hear if you confirm the Cactus Gray is on the lot in Haverhill, that truck has a blend date after my Tremor order, has more options, but would have somehow beat mine to Massachusetts. The photos are stock, so if it has arrived to MA, they haven’t taken the actual dealer photos...
When are you moving? My order is the same Tremor spec, different color, built 3/23 and still awaiting shipping. Seems New England customer orders are struggling to leave Michigan, but admittedly only a small sample size. Looking forward to driving my Tremor up to Kittery for some Lovebird donuts...
To add fuel to my rising frustration, I just found two more Rangers sitting on local lots that were built after my order, but the kicker is one has an April 1st blend date on the sticker. So either our trucks have an issue or missing component keeping them from shipping, or, they are grabbing...
Just got my second Ford email pushing the arrival estimate out another two weeks, so now it says 4/30-5/6. Truck was built 3/23, still “awaiting shipment”.
That is some picture! I wasn't aware that Ayer was a hub our trucks might go through. I'm about 25 minutes from there and am in the area for work often. I reached out to my dealer for an update and the only info he saw in his system for mine was "shipping delay". No other details according to...
Congrats, I'll be keeping an eye out to see if you post any shipping updates since there are a few of us in New England waiting to move beyond "Awaiting Shipping". It has been 4 weeks since my order was built.
I've been holding off on the bigger $ accessories like the Softopper and XTrusion rack, but do have the Wolf Haus bed power and two bed tie down points sitting here waiting. I want to have this truck ready for camping starting sometime in May, but no longer have my hopes up. If this delay...
Yeah, I won't believe anything they tell me now until I see the truck in person. Ford sent me an email 12 days ago saying the new arrival range was pushed to 4/16-4/22. I turned sour this morning after finding out that the nice FX4 that showed up at my dealer last week had a blend date a week...
The dealer I ordered a Tremor from had a white FX4 show up recently, so I looked up the sticker and now it has me bummed out. My Tremor blend date was 3/16, built 3/23 and this new FX4 on their lot had a blend of 3/23. I have been telling myself its the challenges with rail freight that have...
If I was in your shoes, that close to the plant, I’m sure I’d be going bat sht crazy hearing that other convey shipments are going out with later builds. I’m sick of waiting and it’s only been about 3.5 weeks since mine was built, but thinking it’s beyond Fords control helps me a little. I’ll be...
Only a guess, but I’m betting most of this is the ongoing challenges with rail freight. It’s insane lately how hard it is to ship products. Trucking isn’t as bad as rail, but there are still plenty of trucking bottlenecks too.
Looks like Splash models can come with orange nostrils, or red or Avalanche depending on which Splash it is. I wonder why the Ranger Tremor doesn't have orange accents like the F150 Tremor?
Gen X here, about half of my vehicles have been manual, wife has driven them since she was a teen, we will teach our teenage kids as well soon. I've had manuals in Hondas, a great VW GTI, a Volvo V70R, a few A4's and a Wrangler YJ. Still, I would have passed on the manual in the Ranger if it was...
What do you all think of this email from Ford? With the way they word it, almost sounds like they needed to go back and correct something, but it was built two weeks ago. I was holding out hope shipping progress was being made behind the scenes and the dealer would call me any day now to say it...
