Thank you ! Iām very pleased with the results. Yes black is a pain in the butt, but it sure looks great when itās clean which lasts about 5 minutes.
No block in the rear. I had the same rake as yours and now it sits about 1/4ā higher in the front than the rear. I think you would be pleased in the construction of the BDS. They are extremely well built. Hit up Frank here at Stage 3, Iām sure heād cut you a great deal. This photo was taken...
Thanks Duke ! I have all the fine folks here to thank for sharing their installation experience that I read up on before starting. I work as a mechanic for a living so some of it was standard operating procedure, but stuff like pushing the axle out of the knuckle saved a lot of grief.
Love it ! Drives/handles like a different truck now, free of all the annoying Ranger handling issues from before. I set the preload to give 3 1/4 ā lift. The UCAās were easy to do since everything was apart and the BDS were at a good price. They come with good Moog ball joints, not uniballs...
We arrived in Iowa on a Sunday, Monday morning I was at the treasurers office switching my plates. Heard too many stories of peoples vehicles with CA plates being vandalized. On a side note, unlike CA DMV, I walked in to the treasurers office with no appointment, paid less than $500 to register...
Not sure what your point is. The two photos I put up were the stark contrast between So Cal traffic which always is a factor wherever and whenever you go somewhere, opposed to my life now which has zero traffic to be planned around. BTW, 10 minutes drive from where that photo was taken which is...
The day we left CA, gas was 5.70 a gallon. I took this photo when we stopped for gas in Arizona.
This is what my daily commute to work looked like in So Cal.
And what it looks like now at 7AM in Iowa.
I love our true four seasons of weather, and lots of genuinely nice folks that arenāt...
I realize it would be one more key to keep track of, but could you use the padlock hasp in the meantime ? It would be way more secure than the plastic pivot lock. One quick tug with a flat blade screwdriver and itāll pop off.
I just finished doing the Eibach coilovers and shocks with BDS ucaās. Night and day difference. All the handling issues I had are now gone. No more brake diving, body roll, or that horrible porpoising, wallowing affect. I did mine all at once so I canāt say for sure how much the rear shocks do...
My bud in Michigan had a similar request in the late 80ās from Ford to use his Mustang for a couple weeks. They ended up replacing the manual transmission and clutch before returning it. All he knew was it was being tested at one of the proving grounds and when he got it back it was clean with...
I know, I knowā¦on pg. 929, I said I was going to be done for a while. No sooner did I say that and I get an email advertising these Havoc HS2 steps. The rest as they say is history. Iām not even going to bother fooling myself anymore.
