Actually, it's an MFN tariff of 6.1% on the first 49K, after which a higher tariff rate would apply. There isn't an actual limit to how many EVs China can bring into Canada, although the higher tariff rate will depend on how much Canadian content/manufacturing is included in the final product...

I just drive in Sport mode all the time. It eliminates the ASS. I've also found that using either the heater or AC tends to do the same, and since one or the other is in use about 10 months out of the year, ASS tends to not be an issue.
