  1. FX4 Suspension Bounce

TLDR: The leafs are the main problem, I'm working on it. The stock shocks on the Rangers (on the FX4 at least) are actually pretty ok for factory, non-N2 charged shocks. The engineers over there do know what they're doing but they set it up for a specific thing (which is why some of the people...
  2. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

    Of course!
  3. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Ah yeah I think there was a big rush right when he released them and he's changing the packaging slightly as well I think, but it should be soon that they're available again. Yes I also have his magnetic flags on the side of the truck and they've never fallen off once. I take them off before...
  4. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

It was mostly because I knew the offroad performance gains/strength that would come with them (my goal for the truck) and I'm friends with the guy that designed them and they're really well made. But those will be changing soon(ish) as well for a UCA of my own design, so stay tuned for that as...
  5. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Thanks! I'll let you know, I may take you up on that. I'm in the LA area. And for sure, I'll post up about it and let you know. It's taken longer than expected, but I want it to be perfect.
  6. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Thanks! I'm excited to unveil things as they get made, working hard on getting everything perfect. Yes, unfortunately to go up in tire size essentially at all, you have to cut the front crash bars, but no trimming.
  7. Found my ScanGauge II

Here you go. Out of the way, easily visible when in drive. Cable runs across under the dash to the OBD port driver side. I'm going to design a bracket or something to hold it in place even better eventually but other things are getting done first.
  8. 2019 Ranger and front bumper bull bar

Just a little warning: be careful looking at most of the Australian market accessories, they had to make quite a few changes to the Ranger to bring it here so most will not cross over aside from cosmetic things like stickers obviously. For instance the ARB bumpers for the Aus and US market are...
  9. UCA Clearance with 285/70 17s

Getting different UCA's really helps change the geometry for the better on ours if you want to run 285's and/or lift properly. The factory geometry on the Aussie market Ranger is totally different so much that none of their upgraded parts can bolt on to our Rangers. Wheel track, spindles...
  10. Cost to lift our Rangers

Depending on what performance level you're looking for the cost can be lower or higher. Some basic coilovers using factory control arms, etc you can get a lift, but your geometry won't be quite right and you'll put a lot of stress on your joints, spindles, etc. (And have a really hard time...
  11. Found my ScanGauge II

Installed just by velcro right in front of the gear shift facing up. Monitoring mainly trans temp, but also sometimes mph (since my setup has the speedo off by 7% or so), sometimes mpg/gph, sometimes a few other things. Love having it there and it's helping a lot.
  12. Aftermarket Bed/roof rack system

Leitner Designs with Roofnest Eagle. Camped in a bunch already, some decent offroading speed and crawl, no issues at all.
  13. 2019 Ranger and front bumper bull bar

Working on a little something for you guys, just making the final tweaks.
  14. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Awesome thanks. Yeah I've been looking into it maybe as an addition so people who run stock fenders like me can have it fit flush then have an attachment that extends to match a flared width. I've got a friend with the ADV glass so I'm going to measure hers for the additional piece. Still a few...
  15. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Cleaned up the RTT mounts so it looks a lot cleaner, is more secure with the higher quality brackets, and no more getting stabbed in the back by hanging bolts when I climb in the bed. Before and after.
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Cleaned up the RTT mounts so it looks a lot cleaner, is more secure with the higher quality brackets, and no more getting stabbed in the back by hanging bolts when I climb in the bed. Before and after.
  17. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Doing a bunch more work this week, but the bumper design took the lead these past few days. It's getting there. The list of things I'm working on keeps continuing, but this is what the render on this looks like now. A couple more tweaks to make, then going to laser next week or two hopefully...
  18. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Yeah I wanted them to fully clearance with no rubbing on 285 and these do that. Full lock both ways at full cycle and no rubbing so that's what I needed for offroading. And yeah I loved the 60 and most parts are super easy to find because you can use generics from a million other cars, but for...
  19. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Thanks! I'll have to dig that up, but I think they're +20.
  20. psweeney's Adventure Ranger

Even the little things make a difference. Today the chrome dealer plate frames came off and the brand new black Tactilian flag frames went on.
