Doug What I consider acceptable for wet traction is an A rating. To get to a AA rating you are looking for an ultra performance tire. If you are the type who drives fast on wet roads, you may want to consider such a tire, If you drive a truck, you should really consider not driving that way...

Phil I never stated that the tires did not comply with minimum standards, but in my life, minimums are not acceptable, nor should they be for Ford.

Tod Yes, it is strictly a wet stopping distance rating. Again, that's my issue, PERIOD. Unfortunately, stopping in the rain is a common and valid concern.

Justin Yes, you are correct, it has to do with stopping distance when the road is wet, and that is EXACTLY my issue.

You should inform yourself on this, it absolutely does mean "wet traction". FACT, look it up.

Exactly, that would be like a car manufacture taking recalled air bag inflaters and putting them for sale on the collision repair parts market.

My biggest grip with this tire is the B rating on wet traction.

It pays to shop around.

I bought mine a Cooper Ford in Carthage NC. They said they sold them to me at wholesale because I bought the truck from them. I guess they were telling me the truth.
