Any idea if it came that way, or was it something that happened post install? Just wondering if there is anything I should be looking for.
So far, I haven't noticed any increase in transmission temp. IAT is staying right about 10° above ambient, unless I'm idling... then they go about 50° above...
Watch the weight limit on them. I bought some similar to hang my ruck and my sandbag. The ruck is 36 pounds if I'm carrying water, 30 without. I didn't want to lay it flat, because it leaves the seat crushed down, don't want to store it in a standing position because the weight is suspended...

It says it won’t fit my 2021, but if I change my year to 2019, it says it fits. I think it just hasn’t been appropriately updated.
A coworker and I installed mine yesterday. I love it. You can tell an immediate difference.
Where we had issues, though.... yeah, that inside nut. It took us forever to break that one.
Worse than that, though... the nuts threaded back on just fine, but during tightening, somehow became cross...
Finally installed the SPD downpipe. Not sure what to do with this bish. I’m not putting it back on, that’s for damn sure. Once again, I’m telling myself that next time I’ll pay a pro to do mod installs. We’ll see.
I agree. I’m just curious. If someone did order one, having it may lead to more clues as to why it is there for the Bronco.
I actually just thought about it. A coworker of mine owns a Bronco. Not sure which trim, but I’ll check hers out and see if she has it.
No picture tonight, but I swapped out the front Ford oval for the black and smoke chrome emblem. Looks pretty good. Almost good enough to make me not want to eventually change grilles. We’ll see….
Now, I just have to make time for the downpipe install.
Wait.... They have a first responder discount? Or a forum discount? I've spent almost $3100 there since I got the truck and had no idea. @Stage3Motorsports, how do I get one of these discounts? Maybe I missed something on the site? I've got another $470.90 in my cart now, but kind of on the...
This is from the thread where I was asking for help with my catch can. Desertranger19 was showing me the new port location for tying in. But, even if both ports for the PCV system are still down low on the engine, behind the driver side wheel, I’d bet money the PCV connections are your culprit.
I’m not leveled and I have the smell, as well. I do have a catch can installed. When installing it, I found out that they moved one of the PCV connections to the top of the engine… driver side…. I can almost promise this is where your smell is coming from. I’ll see if I can find a picture...
SPD just returned my email from last night. They sell the adapter here. No real information on the product page, but if one of the ones I’ve already got on the way doesn’t do it, I know I can order that one.
I didn’t order from Stage3. I’m not worried about the cost of a $10-20 adapter piece. Just making sure I’m thinking about the connection properly. I have ordered a few adapters in different combinations of 3 and 2 1/2 inch ID and OD. I’ll let y’all know which one works when I get around to...
I ordered from 5star. The info on the websites is apparently old from other things I’ve read. I’ve got an email in to SPD, as well.
In any case, do you have any insights as to the measurements I gave? I believe I’m thinking about it correctly, after having some sleep. I’ll let y’all know...
The downpipe does not come with an adapter if you choose the 3 inch exit. I have the MBRP single exit cat back, 3 inch. It connected to the factory downpipe without an adapter.
