Hey Szero,
Good question. From a material and construction standpoint, I think they will... that's one reason why I purchased them. However, I'd call Rocky Road Outfitters and inquire if the "Ranger Super Sliders" can handle being used as a jack point.
Decided to go a different route rear spring wise (looking into Parabolic Leafs). These are new and haven't been removed from the box.... opened one end to capture image.
Asking $600

Been mulling this over for a few weeks and have decided to post these up for sale. They were removed from my new Tremor just 1 week after I took her home from the dealer and have approximately 300 miles on them.
Asking $500.

These were on my new '23 Tremor for about a month prior to removal and storage. These are in near perfect shape with no visible chips, scratches or scuffs.... like new. Includes all factory mounting hardware. Located in Belton Texas, directly between Austin and Dallas along the I35 corridor...
New set of Rocky Road Super Sliders for sale. These were installed on the truck for a total of 4 days before I took advantage of an opportunity to have some custom sliders fabricated (at 3 times the price). No off-roading took place during the 4 days these were on my vehicle. There's not a...
I'll be paying close attention to this thread as well.... I did find this on the Spicer website:
https://spicerparts.com/parts/axle/automotive-performance/spicer-ring-and-pinion-gearing-for-ford-bronco
Still waiting to hear back from Ford. Thus far, the issue hasn't reappeared and the truck appears to be behaving normally. I'll post again as soon as I'm able to discuss this with someone related to driveline engineering.
Sorry for the update delay.... had some Honey-Do's to take care of last night after work.
It appears that the lid for what they're calling the, "Battery Junction Box" (fuse/relay box behind the battery) was leaking. As a result of water intrusion from engine spray downs and possible leakage...
Jim, you're partially correct... I've now had ONE major issue, but only as a result of what I had stated earlier, "the dealer found the fuse box lid was not properly seated ...". The consensus is that the vehicle arrived from the factory with the lid off kilter. That revelation alone indicates...
Jim,
No, the dealer found the fuse box lid was not properly seated, which explains the rain issue we had in Salt Lake. Considering the fuse box is located near the hood/fender/cowl junctions, I can see how it might be possible. As for spraying off the engine, I use a pressure washer with the...
4/18 A.M. Update: Repairs were completed yesterday and picked it up late afternoon. So far, so good.... currently at work so I'll update with further details this evening.
4/14 Update: Ok, they ran the codes and luckily they were retained by the ECU. They traced the issue down to what they called the "battery junction box", which I suspect is the fuse box located behind the battery. They said it was full of water. I find that to be possible since I rinse off my...
9Zero, we'll see. I've yet to use this dealer, however a friend of ours reported he's received good service from them in the past.... if I run into trouble, I have a few wild cards up my sleeve that would help to move things along. I wouldn't loose any sleep over this if I were you. I did an...
4/11 @ 5pm: Received a call from the dealer this evening. They did confirm that there's several codes stored in the ECU and will be reading/diagnosing them tomorrow.... stay tuned.
I'm hoping there are no mechanical issues. Yes, I'm thinking something electrical or possibly software/firmware related. I've yet to introduce a tune or have the ECU flashed in any way so I'm thinking more on the electrical side (water contamination in a plug/harness or a direct short perhaps?)...
