Since you stated it wasn't the mirror. I guess lowering the window down didn't stop the noise? Isn't there a moulding on the upper door edge? If the window is up then air flow could be increasing over the moulding and it might not be seated correctly.

I remember now. The tag was for a key code for cutting a blank, if you had a keyswitch model (XLT,XL, etc). It was also attached the the Admin key from factory.

Mine had a paper tag applied to key ring, which was Admin key. The other key didn't have it. Likely the dealer remove the tag.
