I am looking to install a water temp gauge and transmission temp gauge. I like the setup in the linked post. If I did that, I'd have to figure out what I'd use for the third gauge that would be useful. Maybe oil temp to go with the water temp.
I did a quick search for this but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. Has anyone added an aftermarket engine temp and trans temp gauge to a 2020 Lariat?
I've outfitted my 2020 Lariat with a snow plow and will want to keep any eye on temps when plowing my driveway this winter By the time...
Taking a corner hit like that, it's likely the frame damage is limited to the front driver side rail. That should be an easy and effective fix on a frame machine. If the shop is a quality shop, you should never be able to tell or feel that it was hit.

I do get some car wash dampness, but not much. If I wanted to take the time, I could probably track down where some extra weatherstripping might stop it, but it's so minor I haven't bothered. The water channels designed into the cover work pretty well.
When I had the shop we used to tell...
It's been good, but I do have a couple of things worth noting.
The cover was installed by my former employee who now owns my old shop. Corey's really good and the installation was perfect. When I wanted to close the open cover, I could just give the rolled up section a push and it would...
Here are a few observations based strictly on my preferences, so take from them what you will.
At a macro level, a 33K-mile Lariat SuperCrew (a generally more expensive configuration) in good cosmetic shape can be purchased from a dealer in my area (MA) for $34K. The dealer will take my...
Actually, the plastic fuel tank plate makes sense from a safety standpoint. In a severe accident, a metal plate contacting a ruptured metal fuel tank wouldn't be the ideal situation. Ford may still have the Pinto on their minds.

My 2020 Lariat had a variety of small dings all around from the previous owner and one decent dent at the leading edge of the rear passenger side wheel opening that was inflicted on the dealer lot before I bought it.
Earlier this week, I had PDR done by a local body shop. After that, I handed...
I'm not sure what the engine temp was because the digital cluster wasn't showing it (I bought the truck used a few months ago). I've since changed the display to show it but the plow won't be mounted again until I actually need to use it next winter.
I did take a look at the hydraulic unit and...
There are two flat vertical push plates that come through the lower fascia below the bumper. Those are all that remain when the plow is dismounted. I'll put a picture up later today. The dismount operation isn't that hard once you've done it. Here's a video of an older model that has the same...
I got the install done today and am still working my way up the learning curve. The parking sensors started blaring at me as soon as I put the truck in drive and I couldn't immediately see how to turn off the sensors and the owners manual only said I could use the button if I had one. It just...
A bed cap or cover should not lose warranty coverage from going through car washes. I think someone has misinformed you, but you should probably limit yourself to touchless car washes since the brush or cloth washes can snag protrusions and cause damage.
At the front of the bed, there is...
OK, decision made and money spent. As mentioned previously, I used to sell SnowEx plows but, after I sold the business, the new owner switched to Meyer. Then he realized that he'd gotten into a business he didn't really understand so he sold it to one of my former employees.
Long story short...
