Sir,when I drove mine hard,up to 6000 rpms that’s when the oil level starting coming down on my dipstick,Blackstone oil report showed just a trace of fuel in oil,but everything else you said I agree with
When I was posting about my issues,a number of guys told me to drive it hard, take it to 6000 rpm,my oil level was right on the top hole, after 1000 miles or so and driving it hard it went down 1/4 of a inch, sent in oil sample to blackstone, only a trace of fuel
Quit checking your oil level so much, drive it and enjoy it it’s under warranty, you Need to drive it hard every now and then, especially in winter time,my level creeps up if I just baby it around.
i was just like you,checking the level a lot,I just put in 6 quarts of oil,Mobil 1 full synthetic,and...
do you baby it when you drive it or do you drive it like you live?
my oil level was rising till guys on here told me to drive it hard every now and then, now it’s good
only a trace of gas on last oil change sent to Blackstone
Give it time to break in,exactly what mine did, dont baby it around, put it in sport mode and take it to 5500-6000 rpm’s
of course after the engine has warmed up
i Run Mobil 1 advanced full synthetic,I change it every 3000 miles, better safe than sorry, with turbo engines it’s important to keep it changed regularly, that’s just me though!
If you do a lot of short trips,or drive like a old man or woman,(no offense)take it out ,put it in s mode, rev that baby up to 5500-6000,that’s what I did after my oil level rose on dipstick, then after a while it dropped
