Hi there Benny, going to be ordering an air filter from your site, listed for $14 currently for 2019 Ranger, is there a code you can offer on that as well. Much appreciated!
How do you like the Turbosmart BOV? Would you recommend? Not expecting much other than the cool sound ?? Currently have Livernois 91 Performance tune, and 3 inch catback MBRP exhaust as well.
I love it! There’s not too many trucks on the road that can really hang with ours (with the exception of the supercharged big engines)when it’s tuned, and even less that perform like ours getting that type of mpg!
Was getting around 22-23 mpg strictly city, short distance stop and go, was impressed with that (running 91 octane perf. Tune) but as it’s heating up quickly in AZ , needing to blast the AC with these same driving habits is hurting me, now down to 20-21, still fun as ever to drive though!
I did forget to mention I have a 2.5 inch level kit as well, stock tires though (255/65/18) once Its time to change them up, thinking of 275/65/18 as well.
Working from home, I’m not able to really get an accurate “normal” MPG reading, I drive very short distances these days, a lot of stop and go and even so I’m getting about 21 MPG with the tune. I’m just estimating but once I start driving farther again, I’m thinking probably averaging closer to...
I’m sure it sounds really good and gives you some gain and being Roush, I know it looks good! ?, I’d get one if money wasn’t a factor haha. I still haven’t completely made up my mind on the drop in filter, being in dusty Arizona, even though I don’t do much if any off-roading, I get nervous...
Can’t speak on CAI intake either but I did consider that for a while, Mishimoto seems to be the one with the most HP/torque gain but when all is said and done I could not justify the $$ for the 6hp gain or so. I do have the 3 inch catback exhaust from MBRP to open it up a bit. From what I’ve...
I was on the fence for a long time like @AzScorpion, but just like everyone else has said, it’s 100% worth it! Have had it tuned a few months now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Livernois is responsive, easy to work with, and I don’t think you can beat their customer service, and that’s...
Ya, I actually started to realize, driving in “D” doesn’t really make all that much difference for mpg, I would try to drive in D mostly to try and save a few but I think I’m abandoning that logic ?
Haven’t tried any of the other tunes other than 91-93 performance tune. Haven’t had any need to . Please Let me know how the tow tune works out for you. I found that after a little while, regular “D” mode in the performance tune just didn’t feel as quick (assuming I just got used to it) but “S”...
Bumping this thread, just checking to see if everyone is still having as much fun as I am with their Livernois tune. Any one just get the tune recently? Please, share you experiences ?.
Running a bit low, but, took a tour in Denver on my 30th bday a couple years ago at the Stranahans distillery and sampled all of their whiskeys, very cool experience. My wife got me this bottle for Christmas and about time for a few more !
Here’s my build so far...
2.5 leveling kit (Torch)
Sprayed in bed liner (Inyati)
3 inch cat back exhaust (MBRP)
Livernois tuned (currently 91 octane performance tune)
Raptor style grille
Thank you, Please do! @Frenchy has one, I’m thinking AEM is one of the better ones as far as actual performance/air flow goes. Question is, will it filter better or at least just as good as Motorcraft or others mentioned here?? Being in dusty AZ gotta be on the cautious side even though I don’t...
When you reference AEM, I assume you went with the dry drop in filter? If so, how are you liking it? I’ve been a little on the fence about ordering one, I’m not expecting any miracles but in conjunction with a tune (I have Livernois) and 3inch cat back exhaust, was searching for a higher...
