  1. Installed Rok Blokz XL Mud Flaps.. Unsure How Secure They’re Attached.

I went with the WeatherTech ones ($100). The front installs were a bit of a challenge, but sounds like they attach similarly: replace two of the plastic liner pop-ins with clips and screws and a third screw connection under the fender. Rears were easier given the additional access, but both seem...
  2. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Funny Farm! Hilarious movie and one of my faves!
  3. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Gave the young cactus a bubble bath and installed the WeatherTech bug shield (actually did this part last week) and some mud flaps.
  4. 25 years wasted.

Sorry to hear. Sad anytime a relationship goes down. But hoping the best for you and the kids out of this. Just keep being you and doing what you know is right. They can't take that away from you and you'll get through it.
  5. Hello!

    Great looking truck! Welcome!
  6. Lariat - Factory LED Headlights - Reliability

My Lariat is still too new to offer much reliability info directly. However, I see quite a few of them around and I have yet to see one with one side of the DRLs out. I know what you mean about that, though, I'd expect those to be a real bear to replace if you could even do it without replacing...
  7. New Ranger Owner (at long last!)

    Nice looking truck! Welcome!
  8. Brand New And On Her Way Home……

Great looking truck! I'm sure it will provide lots of enjoyment for years to come. Congrats!
  9. Getting a brake controller installed

Thanks! That makes sense now reading some of the other comments on the towing threads.
  10. Getting a brake controller installed

I’m new to towing also and wonder about the need for the brake controller. Doesn’t the connector in the rear bumper have a wire for electric brakes? I’m guessing that the separate add-on controller handles larger trailers? Can someone explain the differences or point me to a resource? Thanks!
  11. What did you let go to get your Ranger?

2008 SportTrac XLT V8 RWD Sometimes I miss it, but really enjoying the Ranger so far (2 months).
  12. Another Weathertech Bug Deflector/Hood Protector Question

Anyone have any comparison of the WeatherTech versus the AVS? Seems like this thread has most people with the AVS, but I’ve bought a lot of stuff from WeatherTech in the past and been very satisfied.
  13. Upon Further Review... I'm Hating The Hankooks

That's exactly what I was thinking! Thanks!
  14. Upon Further Review... I'm Hating The Hankooks

What about tire pressure? Placard says 30 psi. TPM and my gauge both say 39 psi on my 2-month-old. Do those come from the factory overinflated? Seems like these may start to wear in the middle if I don't reduce that pressure. Other thoughts?
  15. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

New Ranger (couple of months ago). sitting next to trusty ol’ Simon the SportTrac. I miss Simon sometimes, but the new Ranger is great too!
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yeah, I hear you on that. Before this Ranger, I had a SportTrac - so I'm used to the hard cover and had even grown dependent on it for the extra dry space. This one is definitely lighter and comes off easier than that one on the SportTrac. So when I need to haul tall things, I can just remove it...
  17. What did you do to your Ranger today?

    Here you go....
  18. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Thanks! I like it so far. Only issue - which is probably common to many covers - is that you have to open the cover before opening the tailgate.
  19. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I just had that done last week. Dealer had truck for a day and a half because glass shop didn’t keep appt. I did get a loaner during the change. The glass shop broke the original windshield getting it out, so I’m glad the dealer had a spare.
  20. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Added a spray liner and hard cover to mine. Here’s a before and after.
