How much would a small boat trailer cost? It would be low to the ground and easy to load/unload. A bed extender is nice, I have one for my canoe and kayaks, but you have to lift higher and they are light. My canoe weighs 59 lbs. The OP has a 125 boat that he wants to lift by himself?

Aren't those only going to work if you have the carpeted floor?

Yes...I tried the outside mounted ones. the 3m tape was not strong enough. At highway speeds they come off in spots and you have to re-tape them. They are a P.I.T.A.

I got the all weather rubber floor mats for free with my points. I will never go back to carpeted floor mats again especially in a truck. The floors just get so dirty, and you just hose off the rubber mats and they look like new again. I also go a rubber bed mat. Again heavy-duty and no complaints.

I had all the bells&whistles on my last vehicle. I don't miss any of that tech. Its a much simpler more enjoyable driving experience without the parking sensors and blind spot sensors.

So , you have to be in Colorado to get cheap gas? and 85 octane? My Ranger is rated for 87 octane. I don't think I would put 85 octane in it for any price?

I bought the OEM Ford rubber bed mat that says RANGER on it. Only paid $150 or less for it. It is very heavy and works well. If not getting a bed liner its next best thing. I had Line-X spray in bedliner on my 2005 Ranger, cost $500 , but Line -X is super $$$ today

I think buying an extended warranty on the replacement transmission is a must, especially if you love the truck OR have $5k saved up for repair.
