Hi Phil,
Sorry I forgot to mention they are for aftermarket wheels. This is the correct taper and design for the new wheels but they never specifically said to go with regular thread or ET (extended threads). Curious but leaning towards regular thread. Google searching is showing ET's on old...
I ordered my new wheels but they won't arrive til mid to end of May.
Depending on where you seat the bead of the tire it it can be run as a true beadlock, or as a standard wheel. Ordered the protection rings as well.
These have the correct seat and thread size/pitch, but one will give you another 4 or 5 threads over your wheel studs.
So regular spline drive or extended thread spline drive?
Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my truck havent picked up many rocks like you're describing. They have a feature nitto calls stone ejectors, little ribs between the bigger ones that help to dislodge and lower the chance of stones sticking inside the tread.
I am more so curious of the actual wheel width vs tire size. I'm on 285-70-17 but looking at the same size offset (0 offset) on a 17x8.5" wheel. Trying to get a feel for how they look before ordering.
I run Unleashed. I'm very satisfied with the smoothness and performance. And improved mpgs when I'm driving normally to and from work.
I bought the sct and 3 custom tune package that came with spark plugs, a thermostat, window mount, etc for I think $599? Maybe 550
I bought it off a forum member here so I cannot link to where to purchase one with a center cap online. But when you mount your spare underneath the chain goes through the center of the wheel anyhow so you can't leave it in the spare wheel. So what you should do if you're rotating the spare is...
Here is my setup I "want" to buy vs yours. So my setup would stick out less by .46" so about a half inch more inside the wheel wells. ? I think it might not be that bad after all.
What size tires? I'll do the math. You're at a -6 offset based on width and backspacing we can convert it back to offset. Once I know your tire size I'll be able to see how that relates to a 17x8.5 instead of a 9"wide wheel
Thank you for the link. Cool website to see real Rangers with wheel details to get ideas.
So in all honesty it pokes just a little further than I prefer, but liveable. Ideally an 18x8.5 et15 would be my sweet spot. Damn it. Every time I find a wheel I like I second guess myself.
How wide are the wheels themselves at 0 offset? And what flares? I forgot those probably help a little. They aren't the largest flare.
Thanks for such a quick reply.
Ooh, how wide of a wheel? Love the look. Took a pic of an F150 with the same wheels at the dealership while I was there sropping my wife's truck off and it was sharp. I was concerned-12 offset would push too far past the fenders.
Can I also get a pic from the front or fender shots showing how...
