Hi, Phil. Thanks again for the response. It does have some flex in it, not as much as the thinner fender antennas. I have about 7 1/4 inches clearance on the height from what I understand, so I will probably cross my fingers and give it a try.
Thanks for the quick response Phil. The extensive testing by Ford doesn't surprise me; they don't want a bunch of unhappy customers badmouthing them over their antenna. Thursday will probably be the day I personally test it out.
Not sure if this belongs here or not, so I apologize if it doesn't. I have a new 2022 Ranger and was wondering if the factory antenna will still be attached when it comes out of the carwash? Anybody have any experience with this? Is it a safe/not safe thing to do?
Thanks in advance.
Still got water marks on it from the recent rain. Using my Ford points for floor liners tomorrow and dampener if I have enough points left over. Roll And Lock Tonneau cover gets installed the 14th.
Beautiful country for a road trip. We were in the Smokies a few years back in our '47, beautiful country. Twenty six and half if pretty good for the area you were in. If I remember right, hilly country. Yeah, I'd take that any day.
That has got to hurt knowing it is done but just waiting for a car. Mine was trucked from the plant to mid Illinois in two days. I must have be on one of the first stops.
Thanks, Jim. I'm getting pretty excited. Production did get bumped once from 3/7 to 3/21. If I may ask, when did you order your Broncos? Good luck with yours.
I got a call from my salesman this morning saying the truck is built and delivered to MAP for delivery with an ETA of 4/6 - 4/12. It appears as if the Track My Order and the Window Sticker is updated the following day. That being said, it may not show BUILT on the website until tomorrow...

i hear you. I went to a restaurant where the menu listed 8 oz burgers. I asked the high scool age waitress for a 1/2 lb burger and was told they only had 8oz burgers. The girl working next to her said 8ozs is a half pound as she looked at me and rolled her eyes. The first waitress said...
When we had the interior redone in leather, we had the shop put an extra inch of padding in the seats. I have to scrunch down and get into it head first, but my butt is not sore after a day of driving.
Enjoy....
