  1. Squeaking squealing sound above 30mph

Coming up on 18,000 miles, 8 months, 6 or 7 off-road excursions. But of course I can't get it to squeal now that the day has warmed up. Maybe it'll go away on its own. LOL
  2. Chirping squeal.

Braking didn't seem to affect the sound other than, like Flowgod said, slowing the vehicle below 40mph where it fades away. I can't get mine to do it now that it's warmer outside. Gonna pop a gopro on the underside tomorrow morning. See if that makes anything apparent.
  3. Activate LOCK-UNLOCK-LOCK=START with Forscan

Bingo! I plugged this sucka into the port on the module and she fires right up with the remote! Thanks Mr janitorjim Sir. You're a legend!
  4. Activate LOCK-UNLOCK-LOCK=START with Forscan

2020 XL STX. I purchased the perimeter plus module with Fordpass points. Alarm was plug-n-play but... LOCK-UNLOCK-LOCK=START does not work. It's mentioned in the perimeter+ module description, this feature is enabled "when activated by a dealer". I assume the dealer would use IDS to do this...
  5. Show me your best pictures of your Ranger.

    One of my favorites.
  6. Chirping squeal.

Definitely much louder with the windows down, but still difficult to place front or rear. Wheel bearings certainly crossed my mind, and I'm always nervous about my CVs after I separated them while leveling the truck. But as you say, turning doesn't seem to have any effect. Sounds a lot like...
  7. Chirping squeal.

I had a good long look for posts about the same issue. Only after I posted mine did I find one. Sounds like it's the driveshaft carrier bearing. Yippee!
  8. Squeaking squealing sound above 30mph

Well then, off to the dealership I go!
  9. Chirping squeal.

Check it out ? Kinda sounds like a flock of small coastal birds. This was after about half an hour of freeway driving. First noticed it when exiting. Most pronounced between 40 and 50 mph, coasting/floating. Frequency of chirp seems loosely correlated with speed, quickening and fading away...

  11. Discarding K&N filter after getting FP ecoboost tune?

I'm really happy with the Mishi CAI, though I can't say I noticed a difference in acceleration from it specifically. The tune made all the difference there. The Mishi intake just looks less restrictive to my unqualified eyes.
  12. Eibach Stage 2 coilover install questions

For sure, I got the Bilstein 6112s which has specs for the strut fasteners in the instructions. Found the info for the rest of the components in the shop manuals thread. ?
  13. Eibach Stage 2 coilover install questions

Anyone got the factory torque specs? I found them on here somewhere when I installed strut spacers. New coilovers going in this weekend so I'm gearing up. Don't let me forget to pick up a 36mm socket!
  14. Discarding K&N filter after getting FP ecoboost tune?

I got this paper cone with the Mishimoto CAI. The extra time and money to maintain an oiled filer just isn't worth it, personally. Got one of their stickers on my garage cabinets though! ?
  15. Ford Perimeter Plus Alarm system

I just installed (super easy, disconnected wiring harness, connected tee harness, zip tied module to dash innards) the Perimeter Plus module on my 2020 XL STX and was overjoyed to find it is plug-and-play! Alarm works without activation. Remote start does not, however, so I've ordered FORScan...

Too right, mate! Man I'm dying to get up to Oregon, but I worry I won't be able to turn back. Gonna need a whole summer to explore up there! Pic is the Clavey River, Stanislaus National Forest, CA. Didn't catch anything, and I still gotta buff out the shrub stripes from that trip.
  17. Long time reader. First time poster.

Hey! I'm E, from New Zealand, now living in the US. Got a 2020 STX Crew 4x4 back in February and I friggin love it! I used Ranger5G to do all my mods myself so a huge thanks everyone who took the time to share. Great community, I appreciate ya! Ford Performance chip, Mishimoto CAI, UPR catch...
