  1. FORD says "Do Not Drive..."

Just so long as this isn't the fix: (Borrowed from @philanderer's post)
  2. You might be a Redneck if...

I was sea kayaking in Thailand once with my wife; one of those tourist day trips, where you could paddle out to James Bond Island (Scaramanga's Lair from The Man with the Golden Gun) and other similar islands. Coming up to one of them, a monkey jumps onto the kayak between us, and starts trying...
  3. Bike Rack or Tailgate Pad?

Thanks, @DukeCanBuildit, @Ranger Mel, @Desert ride and @PowerTools for the feedback. While I agree that the pad is an inexpensive and practical solution, I'm hesitant about it due to 1) not being able to transport anything else in the bed when taking trips, and 2) the compatibility with...
  4. Bike Rack or Tailgate Pad?

What's a good rack for transporting a bunch of bikes? I'd potentially be up to 5 bikes, all analog, fairly standard cruiser or MTB type bikes.
  5. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

Okay, Michigan, y'all want to explain this? And yes, I'll be disappointed if the answer is that this is fake. Not surprised, but disappointed. There's just too much potential for one hell of a story here.
  6. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

    Moonlight over the Great Lakes.

That would have gone great in https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/a-movie-car-or-truck-for-a-day.20776/ Sorry, should have replied to @AzScorpion on that. My bad.
  9. Been Fun

My condolences for your loss, Patrick. All the best for the next chapter in your life.

Can't blame the guy for giving it the old college try. Apparently, she'll ride anything.
  11. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Took the mini Ranger out for a drive. Thing 1 is learning how to drive, so we use the mini Ranger as a visual aid when talking about driving concepts. It was the first time out on the roads (instead of just the parking lot) in a regular vehicle without a second set of controls. Originally was...
  12. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

They can be great cars. My mom had a Scirocco back in the '80's for a couple of years that she loved. She only got rid of it because we moved overseas. She got a lot of speeding tickets in that car.
  13. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

It does, but my days of standing watch all night with a rifle in hand are behind me. I have to get up in the mornings now and go to work :(
  14. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

She went with a VW Atlas; she was already leaning towards that anyway. She wasn't crazy about the Santa Fe's redesign, but gave it a shot because the previous one had been good to her. I might have to get @subquark's anti-rodent spray recipe, because we have a lot of squirrels in our neighbourhood.
  15. Kyle Busch

I saw that F1 movie when it first came out; I knew about pit crews and stuff, but never realized just how big the "behind the scenes" teams were.
  16. Darwin Award Thread

You can practically hear him wailing, "Mommy!!!! The mean sledgehammer hit me!!"
  17. You might be a Redneck if...

They kind of missed the opportunity to have the barrels pointing at the car when the gate is "fully" opened.
  18. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

It turns out that this is actually a company car for https://www.ev1studio.ca/, which does vinyl wraps for cars, so yeah, that's probably what they're going for.
  19. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Not parked, but the kid got a shot of this on the highway:
