speaking of winches.... does some one make a tensioner for winches with "rope" like they do for cable winches? Im sick of having to un spool and re spool to get it in an orderly fashion after a pull thats not perfectly square.

I had a friend that owned a truck accessory shop a few years ago and his number one seller was bed floor / corner reinforcements for the fleets of half ton work trucks in the area. Shocked me. at the time I had an old dodge that me and my fat ass ex girlfriend could lay out on the hood together...

not to be a dick - and it may already be mentioned by someone else but im pretty sure the manual says not to use a camper top or slide in on the 5g rangers. the weak bed may be why.

sorry im just getting back. ending up replacing the pads, calipers, and rotors. right rear break was hanging up. so it built lots of heat which of course made the other parts unhappy. and then any time i set the parking break everything was already hot. so the slightest pull on the parking break...

its safe to drive most likely. but may not be best for suspension parts wearing for the long run, alignment, and ride quality. Maybe the install of the lift is what did the kink in the spring. something may be just enough out of place or overtight etc to make the difference.

i should not say it but --- i think the toycoma wheels fit the 5g lol.

drove the four g to work like normal. but its dark as night time outside and storms on the radar. hoping the baby truck does not get another pounding of hail damage... :( it was such a clean truck before. now its like a golf ball. ?

the maverick and the ranger are not the same bolt pattern.

I have the Westin mounting plate and bull bar. I got them one ebay for about 200 i think. they fit the 5g perfect and work great. its beefier than i expected it to be. the 12k winch fits but its snug.
