I was thinking the exact same....I'm trying not to say the tune could be a waste...it's just are the gains over normal use octane 93 worth the investment...I have searched high and low for real #'s on here that can fully enlighten me but no such luck as of right now.
On a side note I've only...
So I'm very curious about this tune....no interest debating it's value...heck I'm interested in it myself! But my question is this.
On Ford Performance parts website the tune states an increase of 45hp and 60ft lbs torque...coupled with reported better shift patterns etc etc. The graph(dyno)...
Living in this area....can confirm.....when it's just right with the weather conditions when they say the roads are closed they really mean it.....proof ??....here is a couple images getting home from work.....Hwy 21 and poor weather ripping off Lake Huron will do it every time.
Just had my alpharex pros installed ....I decided on using Auxito H7 GF series LED bulbs in lieu of the provided Halogen bulbs.
I'm pretty happy with how the lights have turned out...great cut off beam nice bright color.... everything seems to be functioning as well...turn signals, 4 ways...DRL...
I've read through many different threads regarding this FPP tune and I still can't really find a solid answer.
Off of the performance website it says it provides an increase of 45hp and 60 ft lbs of torque and their provided graph shows stock tune (87 octane) and the FPP tune (93 octane)
That...
Hey thanks for the reply,
I've definitely checked out that video ...it's just a task that without shelter and the right tools to complete is something I'm not really into diy'ing myself.
But I do hear you....I had done this already last year with a set of GTR carbide assemblies that just...
I am taking my truck into a shop next week to install a pair of these alpharex pros.
While I have the assemblies here at home I have removed the provided Halogen H7 bulbs and swapped in sets of Auxito H7 GF series LED bulbs...Im not sure they will be much to write about but have to start...
They could of been defective for sure....but nonetheless a pain in the ass to dig in to attempt a swap only to find out it's a no go and then have to back track again.
I hope your set treats you better.
As far as GTR vs VLAND that I was mentioning
I've attached the images straight off of...
I hope they work out for you.
As I mentioned they look really good and for me the real selling point was a more oem look with them.
I don't have the stomach to pay labor again for something again that may or may not work again....but if your doing it yourself it's not an issue you'll face...
I agree with this....I was pretty sure the creation of the morimitos and gtr carbides were very limited as I don't think there was a large market share for the ranger market.
I can't speak for all trim lines coming to the Ranger6g but from every photo I've seen to date they all look like they...
I purchased a set of these from a distributor in here in Canada. I had some reserve pulling the trigger because of the price but they looked decent and was in the "sweeter" spot price wise then the morimitos.
They arrived and I took them to my local ford dealership for installation...the...
Without knowing for sure it is a blend door making that sound it would only be speculation that it was.
I never had a cycling problem...I replicated my problem by manually turning the HVAC system on and off which produced the snapping/popping noise. This is only done with the engine running as...
Your 2019 Lariat would definitely be included on the list of affected vehicles regardless of auto climate or manual controls.
There really is no test you can perform...that said I would be keeping a strict eye and ear on it.
In my case yes the popping and snapping from behind the dash was a...
I'm enjoying my Iconic Silver Tremor....so much so I haven't had enough time to figure out how to change my username and avatar yet....
Not trying to sway you away from the Tremor....but...if unique colors are on the brain...Ford for 2022 has brought back the splash package.... exclusive...
I wouldn't say that having a 2021 would be a guarantee of it not happening....but the evidence to date out there has no TSB's or SSM's that show it being as common of an occurrence as it was for some 2019/2020 models
Unless anyone here with a '21 has the issue and wants to chime in on it.
Stellantis has corrected all the issues with the Hemi's by discontinuing production of them.
The orphaned products now look like a turbo 6 in their future....and phev/Bev
Like most other manufacturers downsizing and trying to increase efficiency on their ICE....the next decade will be a steady...
This is true!...regarding climate control issues in general..I wouldn't go as far to say this a "Ford" part or design problem...but clearly is/was a problem of the part whomever manufactured it that Ford sourced for this truck.
If anyone wants to take a quick sweep on Google looking up blend...
Yes the floor heat in my '19 and even now in my '21 is...well I'll say functional....it does what it needs to do but is nothing to write home about.
Prior to HVAC case failure I can definitely say the defroster and Heat from the front vents are excellent....like when it's set to hot ..it's...
If it's in the same year range of 2019/2020 built on or before July 30, 2022 I would have to say yes.
My replacement was done on my 2019 XLT (Scab) with 300a package which was manually controlled climate control. (This truck was base model...so probably not far off from what you would find in...
