    Sporting and field photos of working dogs always bring a smile to my face. Seeing a dog soaked and dirty after a hard day of hunting is even better. Jack is just a poser right now. Rained all day and when the sun came through we enjoyed the mud puddles together. He definitely looks the part...

    Sorry to hear that. We had a maltese when the kids were growing up that had an eye rupture due to glaucoma. We had to have it removed. He did great with only one eye. I'm sure your dog will be back to his normal self in a couple weeks. Amazing how tough and adaptable dogs are.

    A nice balmy -1 this morning. 3 sweatshirts, carhartt bids, wool gloves and hats. Hands were getting uncomfortable by the time we got back from our walk. Jack couldnt of cared less about the cold. He sure loves the snow.

    Jack had a vet appointment for more vaccines. Put on 12 pounds in 3 weeks, up to 30 pounds. Sure is growing fast.
