Yesterday getting my windshield replaced for the 2nd time in 3 months, got a notice on Ford Pass that said the Rangers alarm triggered, "Ranger's security system has detected door opened and triggered the alarm at 5:39 07 Jul 2023 UTC". I didn't know I had an alarm.
Forscan is pretty idiot proof now that it is enable/disable, I did the double honk, seat belt chime, disable panic button and Bambi mode.
As for kids before upgrades, sell the kids, do the upgrades, problem solved.
