  1. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

I used gorilla clear grip contact adhesive. It's what i could get locally. Seems like it was holding pretty strong.
  2. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

https://www.redlinegoods.com/Ranger19install.pdf Edit: just noticed that redline removed my tip for separating the old boot from the ring. I used the pocket clip portion of a BIC pen cap and slid it between the ring and boot. It worked really well.
  3. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

The only product they make for our trucks right now is the Ebrake boot after i sent in mine for a template. They still need somebody to donate a shifter boot and armrest cover so they can have a template made for the other pieces.
  4. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

Redline sent me an email asking if i wanted to donate my shifter boot for a template as well. I told them i wasn't interested but that somebody on here might be willing to. So if anybody wants one they are looking for a donor. I'd imagine they would like to get their hands on the center armrest...
  5. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

Light grey or medium grey would probably be closer, but like you said, its hard to say with out seeing it in person.
  6. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

I was pleasantly surprised by just how well the leather matched not only the color but the texture as well. The silver thread is lighter in color than the shifter stitching but it is very close to the silver trim of the XLT dash.
  7. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

Redline boot is on. Looks like factory and as expected much higher quality, way more flexible. This is their black regular leather and silver thread.
  8. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

I glued it up and it is curing now. Redline only makes the leather portion of the boot that replaces the factory pleather. You need to remove the pleather from the plastic retaining ring then glue the new leather boot back on. Removing it was very easy I used a bic pen cap to slide between the...
  9. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

Redline boot showed up today. Will try to install it tomorrow. Any suggestions on what glue to attach it to the ABS plastic of the clip on ring bit would be welcome. Was thinking some contact cement might work but i think I'll want something that doesn't set instantly so I can make adjustments.

  11. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

Next to a bronco at Vilano point in St. Augustine Next to some palm trees and the Atlantic Ocean on little duck key.
  12. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

I sent mine to them all the way to Poland in January. Month later i hadn't gotten any word from them so i sent an email to check that it actually got there and they said they had it. No word on when i should be expecting the new one back but i hope it's soon, getting tired of the gaping hole in...
  13. Cross Country with the Ranger, Twice

I just took a trip out to Seattle and back to NY for Thanksgiving. Mostly I-90 out making some detours to see national parks and monuments Rushmore, Badlands, Teton, and craters of the moon. Went down to Moab on the way back and I-70 over to see a friend in VA beach before heading back home...

  15. Rangers in SNOW

13" last night with another ~ 10" on the way. Cleared the overnight dump with this guy Snow was heavy enough to have to make multiple passes. Tires would end up just spinning trying to take it all at once.
  16. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

Update on this I sent in my boot to redline and am now waiting for them to send the new one back.
  17. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

So i went out and answered my own question. I was able to just pull up around the edge of the boot and release the tabs that hold it. Moving the e-brake lever up and down to access the top and bottom of the boot. Once the plastic ring was released, I pulled it so the boot was inside out and the...
  18. Parking brake boot.....Genuine Pleather

I am also interested in seeing the removal and installation procedure. Mine has been cracked but i never had it replaced. Wouldn't mind sending mine in if i could figure out how to remove and install it.
  19. Cel on- evap emission system

Certainly aggravating having to take a new vehicle into the dealer so many times and put those miles on it. I just count it lucky that they actually will fix it under warranty as it isn't really a problem with Ford rather the undercoating places not knowing enough to not spray in that sensitive...
  20. Off road display numbers

The display is different between trucks with adaptive cruise and those without, I believe. When the radar sensor gets blocked with snow it will disable adaptive cruise and show the whole truck on the display.
