Replaced my 2009 Ranger XL. I could've driven it a few more years, but the 2.3l was slow, I was tired of the stress of 4x2 on the highway in snowy conditions, and our family was growing and a 2 seater just wasn't cutting it anymore (I do miss the 5speed manual though). Weirdly my neighbour two...
Usually I like to drink my local craft beer. Lately money's been tighter so I just crack a couple cans of PBR, usually accompanied by a few tokes of sativa.
Spare me the lecture and finger wag old man narc. Stuff has been legal for nearly 4 years here in the great white north. (but I don't...
Mine came off nice and clean. I put it in the rear window. It's barely visible through the tint but I know it's there lol. I had to put a white towel behind the window to get it to show up for this photo.
Hey I'm in Kingston too. Grats on the truck. Black was my first choice but they didn't have a black Lariat in July when I bought. Just under 10,000kms since Aug here. One work trip to QC other than that mostly local drives. I do like to cruise town in the truck. And I wash it almost every...
In model year 2020 they eliminated the lettering as well as the floor snaps on the front passenger mats. My stock mats looked exactly like the first pic. 2020 Lariat. I bought the husky liners, which are great, except they have the holes for the front passenger mat snaps, which can now leak...
Much ado about nothing. It's your truck OP, enjoy it how you want. Obviously always be safe and consider others, but after that, let er rip if that's what you wanna do with it
Today the Ranger hauled it's most precious cargo yet! My first born! ?
Proud first time papa that I am, can't help but share the joy with Ranger5G! He's being a bit fussy in this shot as mom left the truck to console our dog who hadn't seen her since Sunday morning. Introductions went well and...
My first car, 1990 Corolla I got as a hand me down from my dad. Was a real crapbox by the time I got it in 2005. I loved it as it was free and cheap on gas and it had a 5speed and 4 doors for my friends oh and it came with a cig lighter and ashtray lol. Drove it for about 4 years!
Anyways, the...
That's awesome. Probably my favourite Ranger build I've seen so far. I'm a fan of the autofocus channel already. Great showcases of some very interesting cars and trucks. The coverage of King of the hammers has been great the last few weeks.
Please let us know if you discover a fix or anything. My driver door is doing the same thing. I just noticed recently. Not always though, seems to be certain tracks and not others.
Southern Ontario here, only ever heard them be called a cap. Camper shell is a head scratcher for me, wouldn't want to sleep in my truck box personally lol. I know a lot of people do, but it can't be the primary reason for most people to get one. Topper works, but yeah it'll always be a cap for me.
Not OP but I had no trouble installing mine. Just a bit of patience with getting the lower screws into position first helped, and bending the tab on the flaps in advance makes it easier to attach. I did all four in an hour or so. :) They are kind pricey for what they are but I too like the thin...
I thought the same thing. The V6 badge looks exactly like the Tacoma badge. I guess someone did a swap or, more likely, they're embarrassed by people knowing they have an awesome turbo 4cyl. So silly.
A tailgate assist damper. I'm pretty confused because I didn't even ask for one! By best guess is that it was a suggestion to my wife from my father-in-law who's F150 has a damper. I tried my hardest to stay on team no damper but the dark side has found me at home of all places!
Merry Xmas...
