Got quoted $1100 for OEM replacements + $400 in labor, so I decided to go with an ICON kit at the same mechanic which saves 2-3 days and ~$300 in cost. Probably $1100 all said and done with the upgraded kit. Totally freak thing, I'll be filing a report but shit happens I guess.

If wasn't full time with work and school I'd do it myself so we're having a local mechanic do the work. Not sure which springs he'll recommend but yeah, definitely not having Ford look at it.
It was for my truck. Unless there is a short somewhere in my module than IDK. Mine works now 100% of the time and had all the characteristics of what I described.
TLDR: FIX Dimmer switch for the glow lighting also controls the current to the USB headers for some reason, turn it all the way up and give the USB's max current and Carplay works.
