  1. Texas WTB: Factory Carpet Floor mats to fit 2021 Ranger Crew Cab

Sorry. I have no idea why I did not follow up on this. I must have forgotten. My thanks and apologies to those who responded. I went ahead and ordered some from @LevittownFordParts.com last week. I am no longer looking to buy.
  2. Finally got Tremor...Dealer killed joy.

I dunno, man, all I see is a super cool Ford Ranger Tremor and an urban assault vehicle. I guess if you like running over children in the streets and anything else obscured by the giant front end, the Ram might be the choice for you, but even in the upcoming Mad Max gasoline wars, I will take...
  3. Had both a Gladiator Rubicon and now a Ranger Tremor. My impressions.

I seriously considered the Gladiator (I've had Jeeps in the past) before I settled on the Ranger for a number of reasons. 1) Both of them are WAY more capable off-road than anything I intended to do, so whatever advantages the Jeep might have would have been meaningless to me. 2) I spent quite...
  4. What do you use to clean the Tremor Side Steps?

If you crawl under the truck, there are two bolts on each of the three legs holding the rails to the body. Remove the bolts and the rails. Problem solved.
  5. Tow mode MPG

TLDR: If Tow Mode performed better in EPA tests, Ford would have made Tow Mode the normal mode, but there is a very remote chance that Tow Mode could perform better in "real world" economy. I am also skeptical. With people complaining that the Ranger shifts too early to maintain lower RPMs for...
  6. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

While I don't mind the "face down, a$$ up" look (*ahem*) of the Tremor, I've been using the bed A LOT recently to haul a lot of heavy items, and I would not mind if the bed were a bit lower. I think I've read every post about leveling or lowering, and I am not convinced that it is worth the...
  7. Favorite Odd Accessory …

The damper was a close second, @AzScorpion
  8. Favorite Odd Accessory …

The 3D printed tray from @DirkM. I even like how the Apple MagSafe charger "glows" under the interior lighting which I have set to red (not shown). I have rerouted the cable to behind the tray since the photo was taken, too.
  9. Ride in a Maverick

I got to check one out at a dealer a few weeks ago when the person who ordered it changed their mind. I think it is perfect for what it is intended to be, a great truck for a younger, outdoorsy, active city dweller. It will do most of the things a lot of people need to do with a truck, like...
  10. Anyone want to throw an estimate at this damage ?

I would like to say that he does, but I try not to ride with him . :giggle: To be fair to him, learning to drive is hard enough. The Xterra was extra hard to drive. It required a lot of input for it to do anything (accelerate, brake or steer). And learning to drive in Dallas with 12 lane...
  11. Anyone want to throw an estimate at this damage ?

My son's first car was my old Xterra. He sliced open and destroyed the passenger front fender on a metal mailbox and post. He rear-ended a car in stop and go traffic on the highway, destroying a headlight, the grille and buckling the hood. And he also backed into something, denting the rear lift...
  12. 140 Cleveland

By the way, I’m all for 2.3L Cleveland, which wasn’t an option in the poll.
  13. 140 Cleveland

You are right about the architecture, same bore centers, etc., which was smart engineering. I’m just saying that the taller deck height on the big blocks makes a difference. Perhaps we are saying the same thing. Perhaps it’s just semantics, but it’s not like they just changed the bore and stroke...
  14. 140 Cleveland

I can't speak to Pontiac or Buick, but for Oldsmobile this is wrong. Sorry. Discarding anything prior to 1964 or after 1980 or so, Oldsmobile had two families of V8 engines, the small block and big block. The small blocks started at 330ci in 1964, grew to 350ci in 1968 and maxed out at 403ci in...
  15. New Tremor owner

Love it! Belated welcome to you. How do you like the stripes? I bet it gets a lot of attention.
  16. What kinda phone holders yall using? On the Tremor, the top dashboard has the aux switches (unlike regular Ranger)..

I normally keep my phone in my pocket since I added wireless CarPlay with a CarlinKit 3.0, an Apple MagSafe charger and a 3D printed tray from @DirkM. If my phone needs charging, I place it on the MagSafe charger, and the magnets keep it in place very well.
  17. Solution-Leg rash Tremor steps.

I am already on record as not liking the factory Tremor steps. I am average height, but I am tall enough to easily get in without the steps and prefer to hop out without them, too. This is not about being clumsy at all. It is about the distance away from the truck and the height of the steps...
  18. What drop/hitch are you using with your Tremor?

I am still a novice at towing, so take this with a grain of salt. I have towed a couple of U-Haul trailers recently with my Tremor. U-Haul sold me a 2 inch drop hitch, but I did not like it that much. Before renting another U-Haul trailer, I bought a Curt RockerBall Cushion Hitch Ball Mount...
  19. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

Saw a gorgeous OG Ford F*cken Ranger at Lowe's yesterday, and yes, I did yell, "It's a Ford F*cken Ranger" when I saw it. My wife was not amused.
  20. The Ranger Tremor and Stats

I'm with you. The design of the Tremor steps is the one thing that I did not like about the truck. I am not as tall as you, but I did not need them to get in and never used them to get out. If I were parking somewhere where I could open the door wide, I could step out and avoid the steps...
