It was a concern, and the one I ended up with was a touch smaller. Not a lot, but a little. ~low 70. About the furthest I'm going to pull this is about 100 miles one way. If I was making cross country trips, it definitely would impact my decision more, that's for sure.
I'll try to get the works weighed as soon as I can. We're pretty rural here and don't have access to CAT specifically, but we have a couple log yards with scales.
Continuing my pursuit of financial dumbassery, I purchased a travel trailer yesterday. I pick it up next Friday. I made the mistake of taking my father and wife along. They ganged up on me and I ended up with the more expensive one ha. Better quality though, so I'm not real upset. 23' box...
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate. I went to an rv show yesterday and bought a different one ha. I'll get some pictures soon. 23' and 4000 dry. It checked all my boxes and looked like it should be a decent tow. I pick it up next Friday.
It's my understanding that's how most of them do it. When I went to the first one they looked at me like I was speaking a different language. They never heard of the program. I keep waiting for them to figure it out and send me a bill, but nothing yet. If they do, I'll use my ford card and...
I got mine in a week. Used them locally for mud flaps and tailgate dampener. The dealership couldn't figure it out, gave me the parts, said they would charge it when they figured it out. 6 months went by and I still had them. I went to a different dealer and bought a swing case. They knew...
It's been 22 days since I went to the dealership to get my rear shock replaced under warranty. No response. I ordered Fox 2.0's from Stage 3 this morning.
Hello all, the Mrs. and I are considering a travel trailer for the Ranger. There's two that we kinda have in mind. The first, and biggest, is a 25 footer. 4,125 dry weight. 2020 model. The dealer has it marked at $21,999. They're having a "sale" and told me I can get another grand off...
I forgot to mention that one. I had a colleague turn me onto that a couple years ago at a work conference. It's pretty rare to find where I'm at. He told me if you go to a bar and they have it, you order it! I've always taken his advice on that since.
If I had to go again, I probably would have gone 285 just to look a little meaner. But the 275 was an all around good compromise for me. 265's look too small in my opinion. I do get a very small amount of rub in reverse at full lock. Crash bars still in. 2.5 RC level kit. I think wheel...
Very true. And the more I think of it, could've been only 3 months and not 6. It's been a few years, I can't remember. I did just get a letter with a "check" in it from the dealer requesting me turn in my mustang. I have no interest in that, unless the Mrs. allows me a gt350 ha.
I'm with @ParkerAzJeff , give me a cold busch light any day of the week. The dad in me loves cheap beer ha (16 bucks a case at our sam's club). I had a few last night inspecting the new deck with a good cigar. Paid for it a bit this morning though ha ? . If it's a nice occasion, I reach for...
They'll likely give you a 6 month pull ahead for brand loyalty. I've leased 3 fords and the dealership starts calling about 6 months before maturity to get you into a new ford.
I'm only running it because we have a new station half a mile from work. I definitely have to plan ahead though and not run so low that I can't get to it ha. I live in the middle of nowhere and it's the only high ethanol in my county. As far as knock has gone, mine has been great in the...
I'm only on my second tank of e30 on the mustang and it is very impressive. I have a mixing app which makes it fairly easy to calculate. The biggest issue I've had is doing 2 separate credit card transactions at the same pump ( 1st world problems I guess haha). I haven't had enough time to...
Used it to all some lumber. We decided to extend the porch a bit with a new deck. Brilliant financial decision, I know. My dad and I made the 1 hour trip to the nearest home depot where I very quickly spent $700. I had 3 separate, older gentlemen make jokes about the price of lumber in the...
