Speaking for myself, my snowmobile trailer is 8.5 ft wide. Making my BLIS not work and a challenge to see without tow mirrors. I bought some cheap clamp on mirrors but didn’t like them at all.
I’m hoping someone smarter than me knows if it’ll be possible to swap in the new Bronco auto 4wd transfer case into our Rangers. If the base transfer case in the bronco is the same unit as the Ranger it should increase the likely hood of it fitting mechanically. It Electronically working or...
I purchased these and have had them on for about a year and a half. I had planned on only having them on until I bought new wheels but that hasn’t happened yet.
I really haven’t done a lot of off-roading yet but Ive had no issues with them loosening or vibrating...
If you Watch the first two minutes of this video it will clear up some confusion. It seems to clearly increase the speed of the throttle body actuator when running a throttle enhancer. I can only assume this is the case on all vehicles it’s applied to and not just this demo unit.
The OTA update became available for me last night and SYNC updated smoothly within a hour or so. It then indicated it was all up to date but I was still on maps NA 1 18.
I cycled the ignition and tried again but it wouldn’t find the map update. I then toggled the automatic update box off then...
Picked mine up from the body shop. It’s sure nice to have it back, it was a long six days.
Some dummy clipped the back corner of my Ranger in the Costco parking lot. Insult to injury he never stuck around or left a note.
4300.00 in damage, thankfully I had a 100.00 deductible with my package...
I’ve got the Rough Country calibrator, It works as advertised. It was easy to setup and calibrate.
I think it might even say in the instructions but it is advisable to return to stock if you’re taking your truck in for service.
According to the info on these they provide 2.5” of tire coverage, is this correct? They look very similar to the Bushwacker flares and they advertise 1.5” of coverage.
Would you be able to measure the height from the ground to the top surface of the running board when it’s extended down?
The stock running boards I have are crazy high, like 17” from the ground. The Amp power running boards on my Ram are only 10” to the top when extended down.
It does seem more of the complaints are from the FX4 equipped trucks. I had test drove a non FX4 truck before I bought mine but really can’t recall if it handled the same as the truck I bought.
The slightly firmer ride is more than worth it compared to the wallowing it did before. My wife...
Just did the rears on my truck this morning. Easy install and like everyone agrees, really stops the side to side swaying the truck had with the stock FX4 shocks. This is going to be one of those upgrades that’ll I’ll easily forget about but in a good way. It really has sorted out the handling...
I was able to verify this week that the Ranger performs perfectly in -40 temperatures, close to -60 with the wind chill. The engine temp comes up to normal range very quickly, much faster than my Ram 1500. Heater, including defrost setting more than adequate and it has the warmest heated seats...
