Replacing my 1998 Ford Ranger 320K miles, original Trans. I am not trading it in dealer only offered $500 A/C and everything works. I will use it to drive to work to keep the miles down on the 2019.

Dealers seem very afraid to give us any info, like it is going to be wrong or something. I finally got my build date and delivery, but it seems like you need to beg to get any info. I forgot to ask for the Vin and of course they didn't offer either.

Ok finally called the dealership Jan 24 build date, Feb 11 delivery date.

Hmm, I have not talked to the dealer since I put the money down on the truck on 10/01/18 maybe I should check on this.

The XLT package had everything I wanted except one thing. I wanted the start button as an option, but wasn't willing to go to the Lariat for it. Not that it is a big deal though.

These issues can't help creep into your mind. I watched you tubes on the carbon deposit issue years ago. I've seen where it's been stated this has been a non issue from 1st gen engines. But it is still in my mind.

Well good to know there is a button to shut it off. When I heard this was a standard feature, lets just say I wasn't it's biggest fan. But I hope it is pretty seamless as you say and I will be very happy.

Nice I did not know there was an option to turn this off on the new rangers. That was the only thing I didn't want on my truck.
