Called Ford. I have a case #. No info on what the ETA on parts is. Rep said in his experience by 8 business days there should be info on parts. Today is business day 2 from case creation. Same info from local dealer service writer, shows me he is keeping me well informed.

7 days later, only change is case created with Ford by dealership. Case may have been opened days ago, but today’s update was that it was created. Will just update original post timeline. Really missing driving my FX4.

Identical issue as mine. Gaudin ford told me today it’s a defective driver side rear axle. Have you noticed a leaky axle yet wetting the inside of your wheel? Two forum post about this going on now. My ranger only has 7,100 miles on it. It’s gonna be a while for the repair due to parts.

I took it to Gaudin. They are only a couple miles away from my house. No experience with them, this is my first visit. Country ford is farther and I know a couple people there but am trying Gaudin.

2021 Not unheard of if it is a manufacturer defect. The thread posted my Masterious reveals it is a common problem for Ranger axles from Dana, (not a Ford manufactured part). All I have been told is axle, none of the other parts you asked about. I will have to wait for repair sheet to see...

2021 Lariat FX4 super cab = no cover

I got the lariat specifically so I don’t have to mess with a key. Also when off-roading a key and all the other stuff you might have on the keychain is a bother dangling down, not a problem with push button start. Folding mirrors with a push of a button is nice too.
