Of course you will need to buy the proper console switch that has the locker button. If you are very lucky some wiring is already there but probably not.

Well whether the issue is front or rear suspension a proper four wheel alignment would reveal the problem. I wouldn’t fool with some fancy “off-road shop“ I would find a shop with the fanciest computer laser alignment Machine you can find.

No you don’t need to be switching back n forth from 2wd to 4wd every min or 2. Utilize that locker some as well (if not going too fast) on occasion as needed. Truck can and will track through some sandy trails in 2wd just fine in most cases.
Well I don’t know but I’m gonna say people on a minivan forum, even though it’s Hondas, are probably quite different than the folks putting JC Whitney Turbos and coffee can mufflers on 98 Civics..
