Probably not as much engine braking as a V8 but unloaded it does well. The back pressure through the valve train reduces engine rpm combined with gear selection in the transmission to slow down or prevent from speeding up on descents. Towing the travel trailer on the passes it also seems to do...
I tow our travel trailer with the Tekonsha P3. No issues with the braking since none of my F250s had emergency braking anyway. I use the adaptive cruise for a safe distance and keep my head on a swivel! 😁 I'm sure you're doing the exact same thing.
We clipped a bear in my first diesel F250. Towing the trailer up the river for camping. No damage to either as far as I knew. Front bumper smelled like a wet dog since this cub, it's sibling and mama just came out of the river. We were doing 50 on the river road so it wasn't bad. Slowed down enough.
That would be way less than our yearly property taxes. That's a county thing and it does help the school district budget we live in amongst the other usual stuff like EMS, etc.. Okay, it doesn't sound so bad now! 😂
At least in Idaho you pay the tax on the purchase... once. Tax on something you already own is extortion. If it's to pay for road maintenance then say so since we all share that. This fee based on the year of the vehicle or it's value is not right.
We have those ugly things up and continue to go up all over north Idaho. My town, Post Falls, had one small complex from the late 70s then all the subsidized garbage in the 2000s and our city council went nuts. I try to vote them all out every time. 🤬 Does not bring the clientele you want for a...
Mostly recovered. Lingering fatigue has been annoying. Things that shouldn't can wear you out and it doesn't have a rhyme or reason to it sometimes. Very weird. It can take up to a couple years or so to see what the recovery will be. I used to be able to just go and do things most of the day and...
Glad your healing well and feeling better overall. You have to advocate for yourself when it comes to medical. I listen to what the medical team has to say and then MY common sense has to agree. There are certain things I will not take regardless. Some if only for a short time. I can do...
