Fairly new guy here, too. So, what year is your Ranger? 2024 and up are the 6G rangers and they have their own forum since there can be a lot of differences between platforms. Just want you to get the information for your particular truck.
Les Schwab will stand behind the tires. At least my local store will. I'll do some research on them. Of course there are the LT tires versus P tires?? My LTs were real good. They were 10 plys on a Super Duty.
My personal experience with them has been great and they are the go-to tire around here. If I hear bad things about them before I buy tires I will get something else.
I've had my '19 XLT, FX4, Tow Package and technology package with adaptive cruise since August. I love it. I haven't been able to extensively test the FX4 off road but I did run it through its paces while hunting. Handles rough logging roads pretty well and the Terrain Management features were...
Been a while, how did everything go for you? I will likely put the same controller in my '19. Did you have to remove the driver side kick panel to find the wires?
Our set up is an old '88 Prowler Lynx 18 ft travel trailer (4100 GVWR). Haven't hooked the Ranger up to it yet since I bought the Ranger last August after camping season for us. I bought a 2000w Champion generator several years ago to charge batteries back up and phones since we camp off grid on...

Ford does a great job of making the rear seats in the F Series very spacious. I do miss that part of my '04 diesel among other things. The nimbleness of the Ranger is so much fun, though.
You know that guy that over researches before pulling the trigger?? Yeah, that would be me. ? Trying to find that balance of performance and cost. The RedArc doesn't have the Ford module to use AEB, right? Then it wouldn't matter as much which one to use other than preference.
I was looking at the knee room when I drove home from work yesterday and I think it will fit. My knees aren't that close to the dash. Then I got to thinking I don't look forward to putting the first holes in the plastic!!? I guess rip off the band aid!!?
That's what I'm seeing looking at options. If a different controller is used like a Tekonsha, etc. as long as a trailer is not plugged in will the AEB and adaptive cruise still work? Basically when not towing. All my other trucks did not have AEB so I'm used to being the one in control and...
