  1. 285/75R17 Tire fit question

Rubicon take offs are going to be 285/70-17 - they come with 33s which do fit if you remove crash bars. You won't get a 285/75 to fit without trimming and removing parts
  2. Alpha Rex headlights

No, your bulbs will not fit. You'll need the H7 bulbs that the PROs use. The low beams will act as DRLs but it can be changed in the truck menu. You do not need to use Forscan at all.
  3. New Product - Morimoto XB LED Replacement Headlights

It's a switchback. It could be done, just a programming thing.
  4. New Product - Morimoto XB LED Replacement Headlights

These are from one of the FB pages... To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I'm happy I went with the $600 Alpharex lights. For reference, here's my setup with drop in replaceable LEDs.
  5. Alpharex PRO Review

That's weird. Mine operate perfectly in auto mode. Try turning off the DRL from the truck menu. That turns off the lower voltage operation - I wonder if that's what's messing up some bulbs for people.
  6. Texas (WTS) Tremor Hoop Steps

Bumping up - someone take these. Wife wants them out of the garage lol
  7. Aux upfitter switch wiring

No, the wiring is still a limiting factor. They are different gauges based on the rated amperage.
  8. Wired up some ditch lights to my upfitter switches

The wires are different gauges. It's likely not rated for more than 5a.
  9. Wired up some ditch lights to my upfitter switches

If the fuse is rated for 5a and you are pulling 7 amps then the fuse will blow. How relays affect it, idk.
  10. Wired up some ditch lights to my upfitter switches

Amps equals wattage divided by volts. So if you're running two 40w lights together, 80w divided by 12v is 6.6 amps.
  11. Aux switch accessories

I posted a thread a while back after wiring some pods to it. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/wired-up-some-ditch-lights-to-my-upfitter-switches.13049/ This weekend I added a couple more pods and a small light bar on my bed rack. So now I have my ditch lights, two side pods facing...
  12. Alpharex PRO Review

They only appear that way when in reduced power mode (when headlights are on). When it's just the DRL strip its bright.
  13. SHOW ME YOUR RTT!!!!!!

My poverty Smittybilt Overlander on a modified KB Voodoo 14" Tacoma rack
  14. Alpharex PRO Review

Interesting - so it didn't follow the bulb? Just stayed on the driver side?
  15. Used bed rack project

Picked up a pretty heavily used KB Voodoo bed rack made for a 3rd gen Tacoma today for a decent price. Going to get to modifying. Basically as it sits, it's 1 and 1/16 too wide to fit in between my bed rails. Plan is to cut the vertical faces off the existing brackets and use clamps like these...
  16. Texas (WTS) Tremor Hoop Steps

    Bump! Price dropped!
  17. Tremor Mud Flaps

I took a 3/16th drill bit and drilled the center of the screw out. Don't need to re use it anyway, and if I pull them in the future I'll replace it with one of the standard push pin clips. I absolutely hate those screw out retainers.
  18. Not satisfied with fox 2.0 lift - options after install

Did you adjust the shocks to the highest setting?
  19. Alpha Rex headlights

It may be with the stock housings, but with the Alpharex and the H7 bulbs it is not. You hit the supports directly behind the housing with the fan area of the bulb.
  20. Alpha Rex headlights

That's going to be a very involved process unless someone is willing to throw the lights in and take the truck out without the valence. You can't swap from the halogens to the LEDs while the lights are in the truck. There's not enough room.
