I guess I'm learning that, I just assumed it was bluetooth. My bad for sure. I still really, really like the option to use it, especially when I have several short trips to do in one day (I just have to make sure that I charge my phone overnight)!
I just that that AA wireless would connect via Bluetooth, then my phone would connect via wifi through the truck to the AT&T wifi. Not a big deal, but I find myself unplugging AA wireless & plugging in my phone to get the charge! :(
One other thing I've noticed (not sure if mentioned before) is that I paid the money to AT&T for the wi-fi hot spot. I use it while I drive for waze/spotify/etc instead of my cell data plan. It works great except for when my two kids are running iPads in the back, the wife is checking e-mails on...
I recently received mine & love it. My only issue is that now it seems like my phone dies earlier than I like (I used to plug in everywhere to charge while I drove for Android Auto).
So now, I'm looking into the
DirkM
wireless chargers, I don't know yet if my Samsung Flip is capable of this...
The day I purchased my new Lariat w/ towing package, we drove about 75 miles, rented a camper (about 3,500 lbs), & towed it to the campsite (about 15 miles, flat & 55 MPH). The dealer learned about this from my kids & told me they didn't recommend it. When they listened to the details, they said...
(Kind of a dumb question), but if I use my cell phone w/ the Waze app daily & rarely use the default Ford nav, should I still go through this process? Thanks.
Have you thought about reaching out to Leer?
I loved my 3 Undercover tonneau covers, so I reached out to them when the Ranger was announced. You just might be (pleasantly) surprised what you may hear. (Or disappointed) :) :(
