I reached out to my Ford Protect rep and his response was "Yes, Ford Protect covers any Ford performance upgrades as long as they are installed by a Ford technician"

Let me do a little research on this. My initial thought is no, it wouldn't be covered, because the Ford performance tune is a 3 year 36,000 mile coverage if I'm not mistaken? I'll do some double checking on this and let you know what I find out.

We do have options. 1 the Ford warranty can be applied to most makes and models and offers coverage at any dealership. So if you have a Toyota, we can offer you the Ford extended warranty that is the same coverage, but for your Toyota. We do offer factory Mopar extended Warranty plans as well.
