Unfortunately, most of the bean counters follow Andrew Carnegie's statement from over 100 years ago, "Take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves."
I'm not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, but I think that we may eventually see Ford and GM merge. The air lines had to do it in order to survive, so it may have to happen in the auto industry as well. I hope it doesn't come to that, though.
I understand and agree with having the two openings in the cab. When we open the moonroof of our car (Explorer), we have to open one or both of the back windows a little bit to keep the noise and turbulence down.
Well, I got my notice today to start my truck and charge the battery. I guess I'd better take my own advice and attach a battery tender. Gas here is now around the $1.40 range. Some lower, some higher.
After discovering that my Vette battery will die after not being driven for two weeks, I’ve learned to put any battery on a tender that’s not being frequently charged. With all the electronics now, vehicles have a lot of parasitic drain.
The Ridgeline would have worked for me. All I haul is my garbage and recyclables to the dump and my gas and diesel cans. I just couldn't stand the looks of it.
I had heard that real swans would make them leave, but I never thought of plastic ones! Live swans are super expensive--I've heard about $1,000/pair. I can't confirm that. It looks like it's time to do a little googling. Thanks for the advice.
