Came in today FedEx. I have to say, I’ve never received anything wrapped so well and safe in my entire life. Numerous layers of cardboard and lots and lots and lots of thick paper. When you pick up the box, it felt solid all over the box.
They are supposed to be delivered today by FedEx. I purchase them from stage three from Frank. It’s probably going to be approximately three weeks before I install them. I will definitely post pictures of me installing them and the ride difference with the fox 2.5 shocks front and rear.
What do you guys think?……………. Will there be a “”little”” or “medium” or “a lot” of road noise with these? Thanks for your opinions.
Sand highway runs….. the up-and-down Sand highway to olds…… the next to gecko Road runs…… runs to duner’s diner……. Swing set runs And so on.
I will probably beat on the truck a little bit more than I should so I feel the upper control arms would be a good investment from the get go. I have been going to Glamis sand dunes for about 28 years now.
And I believe I am a little more confused now, then when I first asked the question about upper control arms……… I have a better understanding about the ball joints, Heim joints, uni-ball and so on. I’m thinking Camburg uni-ball or the high end camburg which I believe I do not need. Icon = some...
Thank you for confirming that there are Zirk fittings at all the pivot points. I do not know why more than a few people state that they do squeak a lot.……..
Thank you for your reply and help. A few people pointed out that the shocks could be set up differently than each other anywhere from a little less than 2 inches to above 2.5 inches so for me to double check that they are set correctly before installing.
I have Fox’s 2.5 so I’m guessing about 2.5” also….. However I’d like to get closer to 3. No rock crawling over here but more faster straight runs over whoops in the desert.
