Holy smokes that looked painful, and that's with a very experienced EV guy. Can only imagine what a novice experience would look like. Seems renting a car would be the better option. Just too many stops.
Navy here, OS2, 5 years aboard USS John Rodgers (DD-983) out of Mayport and USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62) out of San Diego and spent most of those years underway. Even earned a couple beer and swim calls during all that time afloat ? The Harpoon Missile was my primary duty but boy I spent a lot of...
Congrats! Beautiful truck. Still think Ford should've opted for the rock sliders, like Chevy puts on the ZR2, instead of the bloated side steps. But good thing is they can be removed.

In car enthusiast circles it is made fun of. BUT that's only because people get carried away with the stuff, using it on high wear parts, like wheels for example. For small pieces and no/light wear areas it's fine. When plastidip starts to look bad though, it looks terrible.
Installed the Bushwacker rocker panel and door sill guards. My wife and daughter use the door sill as a step, so installed the guards to protect the paint. Very easy to install, look good, and avoids buying side steps.
